REMINGTON 870 EXPRESS TACTICAL

Really like the 870 express - I put a tactaload flash 5 stock on it - It holds extra 5 rounds at the back of gun instead of the weight being on front like a side saddle - Works very good - fun to shoot - When fully loaded 6 +1 plus 5 in the stock total 12 on board - Very Good for home defense & hunting

Perfect shotgun to build up for camp/home defense. Magpul, Mesa and XS upgraded! Fired target and 00 buck through it so far. Very dependable and fit and finish were fine for this price point. NOTE: Mine came drilled and tapped (3 holes). Was not mentioned on this site or on the remarms site either. Was pleasantly surprised it came that way and my XS picatinny fit perfectly minus front screw (no hole at top end of receiver I think because of barrel being there?)

Excellent platform to modify for a good defensive shot gun. The 870 has an excellent reputation for dependability and there are a ton of aftermarket parts to build it to suit your needs.

This is my first shotgun, I can only say that is an excellent shotgun for the price, Good quality and easy to use

I use this gun at work ( I work in law enforcement) shoots great and reliable. If your looking for a good pump action shot gun this would be a good buy

I love my Remington 12 gauge. I feel safe and well protected. I can't wait to try it out at an open range.

This is a awesome out of the box home defense shotgun. Even though it is an express so it is Remingtons lower line of shotguns for the price you can’t beat it.

My department utilized the 870 during my 25-year law enforcement career; they were very dependable. I put 25 rounds through the weapon at the range with no issues. The shorter barrel is excellent for home security.

I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot it yet so my opinion is based solely on its appearance and non live fire operation. With those as my only criteria I love it.

very sturdy well built besides the polymer stock and a few plastic pieces on it it's an overall very good gun worth the money ????

Simple to use, reliable and durable. I prefer the safety placement in front of the trigger. I have had issues with other models with thumb safeties on top side that went into safe mode during fire. Shot remington for 40 years now, still favorite.

Love the look and feel of this gun. Lightweight yet feels solid with the metal receiver. The pump-action is buttery smooth, durable, and sounds great! I have not fired any live rounds yet, but I have ran snap caps through it and it works like a champ. Looking forward to giving it a proper test drive at the range soon!

This was my first shotgun and the first shotgun I’ve ever shot. Got a hell of a kick to it, but that’s to be expected with a 12 gauge. Comfortable in my hands, very beautiful. Can’t go wrong with it.
