Kimber R7 Mako

I purchased at Cabela’s Lexington using gift cards I’d received over the past year. Not only did they have exactly what I wanted in stock at good price, the gun counter employee were all extremely friendly, helpful, & handled the handgun transfer process professionally. The Kimber R7 Mako fits my hand very well, has plenty of capacity, great sights and best of all made in the USA. Too many other features too list. I can’t wait for a range session!

This is a great gun. This is why I bought my first kimber more than 20 years ago. They did this gun right. Kimber accurate and very reliable. My favorite EDC gun.

Have purchased Kimber R7 What a gun better then any micro pistols in this market and I have tied them all this one is a keeper.

Overall great handgun. The trigger is one of the best, you'd have to spend $100 plus to get a Trigger like this in any other handgun. On top of that it's beautiful also.

Felt good in the hand. Accuracy with the optics was lame at The Outdoor Expo. at 15 yards only hit one out of 10. Just stating with the facts are, maybe this was an anomaly.

Great price for a highly sought after Kimber centerfire handgun! This firearm was definitely worth the wait after hearing about it's release. Kimber pulled no punches on this design. Absolute amazing trigger and the company definitely made it's mark on the micro world of carry guns. This piece in my opinion belongs in everyone's EDC!

This gun phenomenal for features you get including the trigger is super nice. it is the best carry I have ever had.

Shoots nice! The recoil is light and the gun drops right back into position ready for the next shot. Nice balance! First time out I fired about 100 rounds with three different brands of ammo, no problems. Surprisingly accurate. I was putting big holes in the target from hitting the same area at about 15 yards.

Best shooting compact gun there is, my wife and I love it, well myself not so much, she’s shooting it better than me!! Very accurate shoots sub inch groups at 9 yards!

It took a while to get the right ammo (my reloads didn’t work) but I have it now. The gun has good sights and a great trigger. It is a very comfortable gun to shoot and is accurate at short ranges (I haven’t yet tried it at longer ranges). If it lives up to its early promise it will be a real winner.

The R7 Mako has a terrific trigger action and very manageable recoil. With the extended magazine that lengthens the grip profile the gun feels well balanced. Could not be happier with this Kimber!

I absolutely love this gun. I feels grate in you hand. I thought it was going to be hard to take down but it’s actually really easy.

Great little pistol - it is my first Kimber. I purchased because on sale and a great deal at Sportsman, and bought to be my everyday gun since not a lot invested, and so far, very pleased.

The grip is coarse but I don't mind that at all, it is smooth shooting easy to get back on target, the crimson trace sight is great, this definitely lives up to the kimber name, This is my new carry gun.

For being a first of its kind from Kimber, all doubts you have about it can be put aside. Fantastic price point on this Kimber gets you one of the best triggers for sub-compact striker fired pistols and night sights (Optic) that give you confidence of being your bedside gun. Firearm arrived exactly as ordered. Took it to the range and it performs well as expected. The range bag and holster were a nice addition to the bundle.
