I bought my first Super Black Eagle in 2005. I've shot at least a million shells through it, without a fail. I just purchased the 28" model Super 3 and I would have never dreamed it could be better than the first one. Great job Benelli! You've outdone yourselves with this design!

I use the gun for trap and skeet shooting as well as upland game hunting. The gun patterns a bit high, but that isn't a problem once you get used to it. The gun is light and is easy to swing smoothly. The ergonomics are very good and the autoloading mechanism has worked flawlessly over 1000's of rounds.

Have run all different kinds of shot weight, shell lengths, and shot material and have has no issues. Cleans very easily. Great for day at a clay shoot or out in field.

There is not a better duck gun made. I have been a Beretta guy my entire hunting life until this gun came along. It checks every box and looks great too.

purchased for trap and duck hinting. an upgrade from my old 870. This being my first semi-auto I'd done a bit of reasearch and came away thinking that i was going to need to send some pricey high brass down range at the martinez gun club to break her in. went to the range and blasted 10 rounds of heavy metal 3 inch 6's at some clays, without any malfunctions and decided to try some 2 3/4 8's and lo and behold they ran perfectly. The gun shoots as advertised, like a dream. will recomend and don't regret the puechase.

Looks great, feels great -- except after dry cycling the bolt just a couple of times, the bolt release became very difficult to actuate. I found that pressing the carriage release before pressing the bolt release made it a lot easier. So, I removed the trigger assembly and deburred the contact points/edges using a fine emery board and this resolved the issue. It's a shame that I needed to do my own gunsmithing right off the bat, but I didn't want to send it back to Benelli and miss duck

I went with the 20 gauge. You can shoot this gun all day. Not only is it light but it really does absorb the recoil in the butt stock. Reloading is quick and easy and the gun stays clean after firing it all day. The variety of chokes that it comes with is great, you have everything you need day one. The accuracy was excellent. Got my first clay on...Read More Read more about review stating Extremely light.

Went to the range to shoot clays . The SBE3 is a 20 gauge. I also own a Benelli Ethos Sport 12 gauge. I reall y enjoyed using the SBE3. I think Benelli did a really good job with their shotguns. I would only ever own a Benelli. The produce a quality product!
