2 years agoIt's all own to personal preference, brand loyalty, etc. reviews tend to be critical in class of guns where EVERYONE manufactures one. It is not a target gun....self defense is the primary reason and it handles that vey well, it will eat most ammo and is reliable. I was surprised how easy it handles and shoots. It does NOT bite or hurt, with the magazine extension for the pinky finger give one a good grip and is rather comfortable, it points well too........well satisfied with it

2 years agoStraight out of the box, this is the crispest trigger I've owned. The sights are dead on at 7yards. The only negative point I found was a very small bump on the slide rail that gave resistance just before the slide lock could be engaged. Upon inspection I quite literally had to run my fingernail along the rail to feel the imperfection. After manually cycling with some remoil it soon smoothed out without having to hone or polish the rail.

2 years agoGreat price, fast shipping, solid product... I'm 6'4" 230lbs. and there is such a thing as too small. I don't feel that way with the LC9S. It fits well in hand with the magazine extension and the recoil is more than manageable. I can conceal this thing anywhere! I would recommend all larger guys give this pistol a test drive!

2 years agoLC9s runs great, and is an excellent companion to my LCP II. I have only fired it on one outing, but it functioned without an issue using 115 grain plinking ammo. Once you become accustomed to the small size, the gun is capable of shooting rather impressive groups at 21ft.

2 years agoSlim, easy to conceal, great shooter with a smooth trigger and light recoil - especially for a single stack 9mm Pros: +Small +Comfortable to shoot +Lightweight +Subjective, but I love the way it looks Cons: -Only one magazine included (comes with orange dummy mag as well for dry fire practice) -Thumb safety and magazine release only usable for right handed shooters -Awkward takedown requiring a tool to punch out a small pin Over all, if I were right

1 year agoSo glad that I upgraded to the lc9s, had the previous model and the trigger pull on the lc9s is so much better.

1 year agoThis is a great carry gun. So far it's been reliable with zero malfunctions (maybe 100 rds through so far). Trigger is better than I expected. Picked it up with the lowers deal and couldn't be more pleased.

1 year agoVery nice carry pistol. Been carrying a Kahr CW9 for years and am very happy with it. It has never malfunctioned, even with Russian steel case. I was never really that interested in the LC9, or 9s, but it was such a great deal package sold along with a PA-15 and a PA-10 lower receivers that I had to buy. It feels smaller than my CW9, but it's really not, in actual measurements. It is slightly slimmer. The best thing about it is the great accuracy. Shooting the tightest groups at 21 feet I've

1 year agoWish it was a little smaller for concealment but then again it's a lot nicer to shoot than a LCP. Great value considering PSA probably had a wild Friday night and decided to throw in 2 lowers for the price of this gun!

1 year agoNice conceal carry pistol light weight, easy to aim and accurate. Slide release is very small and hard to disengage but just pull the slide back and release after mag change. Cycles 115 grain FMJ and 147 grain JHP no problem.

1 year agoBought this one (my second) when I heard they may be going out of production. It’s my EDC, and I’m more comfortable having a pistol with a safety for that purpose. Fits my hand well, and I find it easy to shoot but try it first; your mileage may vary????

1 year agoAs my first firearm, I'm very satisfied with it. Learn to shoot, got my cwp license and start a new hobby. A lot of rounds and no failure so far.

1 year agoI brought this gun to compare with my Glock 43 and MP shield 9mm. I had no idea how well this gun shoots. It has the best trigger and most accuracy of the three pistols. The only negative I could mention is recoil. The LC9s is smaller and cheaper than most carry 9's. I would definitely recommend this firearm.

1 year agoVery light and smooth trigger-but I have larger hands and the trigger pinches my finger when firing. The gun functioned well and is acceptably accurate. Overall a good purchase.

1 year agoGreat pistol. It fits in my pocket just right. I find that it is extremely accurate. I would recommend it to anyone.

1 year agoNever had an issue with mine. Fits nicely in pockets or IWB. However I paid $235. Do not pay over $250 for this because you can get it or the EC9 version at any gun store.

1 year agoI have the Pro version, my EDC for 3 years now and I love it. I put a Hogue rubber over mold grip on it and it’s one of the smallest platform you can find in 9mm.

1 year agoThe day following my receipt of the little Ruger, I took it to the range and shot at defensive distances (10 - 30 ft). All shots were in the 10 ring and no malfunctions. I fired several magazine loads with the same results. I consider it a fine concealed carry gun.

1 year agoThe gun is great . But Palmetto Armory is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I will never shop there again.
