2 years agoRuger, 6.5 Grendel, compact, reliable, threaded, & accurate. Only thing that would make it better is iron sights (APERTURE).

2 years agoNice rifle for the price point. For me it was 3/4 MOA out of the box with 3 different loads. Couldn’t adjust trigger below 4 lbs, but it has a clean break.

2 years agoThis rifle is pretty much junk. One of the big attractions is its ability to use AR magazines. However, they basically don't work. Almost impossible to close bolt. Had to cut 2 magazine spring coils to allow it to close even with much difficulty. I've owned numerous Rugers which I loved. Reading other websites, this is the norm for this rifle.

2 years agoThis is the roughest bolt action I have ever used. I think it is because of the attempt to make it work with AR Magazines. The bolt was atrocious. It shot well, but it was so bad to manipulate, that I couldn't hand it off with confidence. I think I'd like it a lot if it fed smoother.

2 years agoHave not been to the range. Scoped it is 7lbs which is perfect. Unlike videos, the action runs fine with various mags. I am tickled with it and want the 7.62x39 next.

2 years agoVery very happy with it it is shooting 1”or less and I love the size of it and that it uses AR magazines. I highly recommend it

2 years agoGiving it 5 stars because of how light weight and accurate it is. The bolt is not terrible but it's not good. It's sighted in at 100 yards, not sure the MOA because I'm shooting metal targets. 12in target at 100 yards is easy, center almost every shot. 16in at 225 yards also easy. Highly recommend getting the muzzle brake

2 years agoReally nice. You cannot go wrong with this Rifle. I like that it’s short and Light weight. Factory rails for my choice of optics and allows for my choice of muzzle.

1 year agoThe Grendel Ranch is a tack driver with 123 grain ELD-Ms. Not uncommon for it to cut the same hole. Yes the bolt is very rough on most Ranches in the beginning, but run some lapping compound on the bolt groves inside of the receiver a few times, clean it out good and it will help it tremendously. The bolt will eventually get better over time even if you don’t do what I mentioned. As far as the AR magazine issues, I have both the Ranch and the Predator and both run flawlessly with the factory Ruger AR Grendel mags……

1 year agoVery happy with rifle over all. It has shot 2 deer already. Only negative it bolt action little sticky.

1 year agoHaven’t had a chance to put it on paper yet .. Fit and finish appear to be good . Good doing business with you . Thanks

1 year agoI wasn't certain if a 16" barrel would be accurate, but this gun is super accurate. I have hit my targets at 200 yards. That seems to be the limit, but my range is limited to 200 yards. The only negative is Magpul magazines do not work, but the Ruger mags work great.

1 year agoWonderful accuracy, shooting .5 MOA at 100 yards, 4 shots all touching at 100 yards, thrilled. Classic Ruger.
