Fowl life
2 years agoI got this gun for duck / goose hunt 2015 . Went every session since and I do about 12 days a month in the filed so if we have a good fall I go up to December 21 ...I never babysit it and it never let me down clean it after every trip. Looking for 2018 session and my friend got one 2016 and no problem so far...

2 years agoI've thrown every type of shell in this thing and it's never jammed once, so glad I got rid of the 870 express and upgraded to this. Extra large trigger guard is great for big gloves in the late season.

1 year agoBought it, went to good cheap cartridges and it would double feed approx 1 on 5 times. Went again shooting with it over the month with different types of cartridges and it would double and triple feed even more with quality cartridges.. Contacted Cabelas and they would do nothing for me since i had the gun for 32 days, and they covered it for 30 days. Pretty sweet situation for them i guess... Called directly Stoeger Canada for help .. 5 times this week. Left 2 messages and no call back. Please yourself, save money and look elsewhere.

1 year agoI've only had the firearm 3 weeks and have been encountering a number of problems. Mine is the Cabela's edition. Second time out I had two light strikes in a row, ruining a golden opportunity for bringing home some geese. It cycles Winchester Super-X 2-3/4" and 3" without issues, but double feeds 3" Federal Black Cloud and 3" Kent Fasteel every time. Unacceptable for a 3-1/2" Benelli. This will be going to a gunsmith to identify the problem, and then returned and/or repaired.

1 year agoHad this gun for about 2 years now. I've never had a single jam or "Dud" yet. I've easily put 5 thousand rounds through it. I use Remmington and Winchester ammo. It is heavy but you will get used to it. It is a "Manly" gun per say lack of better wording. Anyone who is expierencing problems with this gun is 1. using cheap ammo 2. Half pumping it 3. not maintaing it. I've shot consistantly at -20 degrees as well as over 100 degrees F with out a single issue. Super tough and durable as well.

1 year agoDid a lot of research on what Do-It-All pump to get. This is one of the few guns that can do 2 3/4 - 3 1/2 in shells. Very little recoil compared to other pump shotguns. No issues after goose, dove, turkey, and pheasant hunting. Shoots very accurately. The chokes it comes with are good, I did buy aftermarket as well because I wanted extended chokes.

1 year agoI bought this a week ago and the firing pin doesn’t work every few shots. Very disappointed as I thought I was buying a high end pump action shotgun

1 year agoI got this gun the day before the opening day of duck season because i was in a hurry to buy a gun. on it’s very first hunt it got submerged completely underwater and it did not jam or misfire one time. it’s a tough gun and if your looking for a great pump then i would look up on the super nova.

1 year agoI cant believe people like this gun.. its the worst pump gun I've ever had.. big clunky and plasticky.. it's like the truggerguard is designed to injure your fingers and if you dont pump the shell clear when unloading it you will jam it so tight it takes a tool kit to clear.. terrible gun with good marketing on wild tv for the kids with money that dont know what a good pump shotgun is.. twice as expensive as an 870 which is hilarious because an 870 is 10x the gun these supernovas will ever be

1 year agoI bought this a year ago and have put about 2500 rounds through it. Had one failure to feed in that time - was shooting cheap target loads. Benelli must have had a bad round of these go out recently because I have nothing but great experiences with the gun so far. Easy to clean, easy to take apart. I’ll be buying another Benelli when I am in the market for an auto loader.

1 year agoI bought this needing a shotgun that could handle 3 1/2 shells for turkey and goose. After having it recommended to me by the worker behind the counter and a small amount of research I thought it looked like a solid gun and continued with the purchase. I thought the transition from a semi-auto Remington 1100 to the pump would be difficult but it comes very natural. I love the gun and since the purchase of the black one have bought another one in camo. Amazing purchase and I highly recommend it based on the ease to shoot and the awesome recoil reduction in the SuperNova.

1 year agoSent it out for repair once. They checked it and sent it as "cleaned/lubed" on the first box since I received it from service. And jams again. Do not recommend

1 year agoI bought the Super Nova about 8 years ago and I have never had a single issue with it. The action is fast and super smooth. Shoots anything and everything you throw into it without any jams or misfires. I enjoy clay shooting and it is accurate and easy to spend a day shooting and not hurt your shoulder at all. Highly recommend
Suk my Nova
1 year agoFrom my experience and use of this gun for one year, I never had any issues with this gun. This is my first shotgun. I bought it because I wanted something inexpensive and reliable for target shooting. Little more than one year of shooting (900 to 1000 rounds) I never had any issues. Just like any firearm that is broken in, it's a bit easier to use. From day 1 to day 365, everything moved smoothly. I've shot #8 1 1/8oz 2 3/4 , #7 , 3" BB steel, 3 1/2" 1 1/2oz BBB steel and 1oz slugs through this baby. Never any hiccups. The recoil pad works fairly well. Sure the stronger the shot the more it will kick. Grow up and take it or go back to playing with barbie. It does shoot the way it is described in the manual(if anyone reads those anymore), just slightly above the bead. I would recommend this over the Nova. Spend the extra couple of bucks and get the SuperNova so you can adjust the gun. I've only shot clays with this thing. Trap mostly. Singles or Doubles, this can do it all! Why get stuck at the store wondering "can my gun shoot that"? Wonder no more! One sizes does it all! 2 3/4 to 3 1/2"!

1 year agoThis is the best gun for the $ I have ever bought. It cycles anything, fires great, and is useful as it is ugly. I have used it as a paddle, lost it in a hole, fished it out from a marsh, and it works. I have used in wet, dry and frozen (-52C) and it works. I love it, but I also can toss it in the boat without care, it is meant to be used, and abused. My duck buddy also has one, we both abuse them, take it home and put it in the safe dirty. It works.... always. I now own Vinci , and I still take this to the blind a few times a year, when I know it is going to be cold and wet.

1 year agoI have been shooting this gun for 10 seasons now and it has been flawless. Used for upland, migratory and skeet. Awesome gun!
Smitty22lr
1 year agoNothing else really compares. Finish is durable. Over 5000 rounds and never had a malfunction that wasn't user induced, rotating bolt extracts even the oldest, most corroded brass. Comfortech stock absorbs quite a lot of recoil vs plain. Action cycles most of the way on its own (recoil), making it very fast to shoot with some practice. 3 choke tubes included, fiber optic sight, swivel attachment points already installed, comes with a plug, chromed bore, this shotgun is incredible value and carries the benelli name, enough said.

1 year agoAmazing gun, but it likes to jam. I have had it for 1year or so and it is fun to shoot. It is also heavy

1 year agoBest shotgun I’ve owned. This is my second Benelux Supernona as I had to sell my first years ago during a rough patch. Perfect for turkey hunting, as well as ducks. I limited out every day on my first duck hunt using my last SuperNova! Kept up easily with those “auto” guys. Lol
