Great little gun, purchased for my grandson. It’s a shame the shells are so hard to find. Sportsman can sell the gun but can’t provide the ammo!

Nice gun for the price. We put a True Glow red dot on it and she is dead on at 40 yrds. This is a gun that my son is using to Turkey hunt.

Great Shooting Gun straight out of the box. But since I am going to Turkey hunt with it I added a scope and a Indian Creek Choke Tube it shoots lights out haven't got used to the safety on used to No safety on these style Guns

I have been Turkey hunting for over 35yrs and have used many different guns and gauges BUT the Stevens 301 Turkey is with out a dought is the best I've ever used. These little guys shoot the best patterns at unbelievable distances with the right ammo.

For the money this is a great light weight turkey gun for the turkey hunter who wants to hike in and get away from the roads. It is ready to go minus a red dot sight. I found it to pattern well enough out to 45 yards with standard lead loads and would take a shot at 50 if the conditions were perfect. Trigger is not overly heavy and has little to no creep. The ejector will eject shells regardless of fired status so every time you open the chamber it will try and eject whatever shell is in

Great looking, easy handling and good shooting weapon, my new go-to Turkey gun. Mounted a Bushnell 1.5-4 power scope on it. The camo stock is very sharp. Front bead is not fiberoptic, and I needed a scope instead of red dot, due to my 70-year old eyes, with oncoming cataracts. Looking forward to killing my first longbeard with it this week.

Great little turkey shooter with Federal Heavy Weight TSS 7-9 rounds. Spot on and excellent reach ... mine is equipped with a red dot. EZ to clean and light weight ... you'll love it!

This thing is great for the price. Mounted a Vortex Strikefire II on the rail with a single 30mm ring. Fits perfect. Should be Hell on Turkeys this spring. Super tight pattern. Throws empties way far. Cool. Plastic trigger guard????

Very nice simplistic turkey gun. Lightweight and functional. Paired mine with a bushnell red dot and carlsons TSS choke, very solid patterns out to 40 yards using #7 federal TSS. 50 yards the pattern started to fall apart, switched to #9 and 50-60 yard patterns were tighter.

Tagged out opening day. The turkey did not know what hit him. For the money it is a great turkey hunting gun. Shooting Boss Tom #9 2oz loads. Factory choke works great. The bird had nearly 20 bb’s in his head alone!

I like the simplicity of a single shot shotgun. I like the way it feels when aiming it. I have not shot it yet so I do not know how well it shoots.

Ordered this from Guns.com and received it at my FFL in less than a week, it was in perfect condition in the box with lock choke and all paperwork. My first gun buying experience with them and have to say it was an easy process that went very smooth. Neat little gun however the trigger pull is 7.11 pounds too heavy for the grandson to get a clean pull. Tried calling customer service for a schematic so my gunsmith could work on the gun to get a 4 # tirgger pull. No one answers the call for either number listed for service. Not happen with customer service or the heavy trigger pull.
