Awesome carry weapon! Shoots smooth and accurate! Need to get a good shoulder carry for it! Thumbs up to Ruger!

The Max 9 is my first 9mm and so far, the gun has performed flawlessly. I have large hands, but the grip was very comfortable after many magazines were emptied. My choices came down to the Sig 365, the Hellcat, and I bought the Ruger. I have to be honest, I was able to purchase the Max 9 for an excellent price which was the driving force for my decision. It was the smart move.

This Ruger max 9 is better than I could have expected!! I love the sights, the grip is Big enough for big hands. The trigger is great. It functioned perfectly. The accuracy was excellent for a sub compact. It shot any ammo I fed it. I highly recommend it. Best sub compact for the price. Nice 12 +1 capacity.

Great 12rd capacity in a slim profile that's easy to conceal and fun to shoot! The stock trigger however has too much take-up and sideways play, so you'll want to replace it with Galloway Precision's Maxxis trigger. I added a Riton 3 Tactix MPRD 2 red dot and it fits perfect, make sure you use orange Permatex threadlocker. Be advised, the optic plate might be too hard to remove, so you'll need to heat up the screw heads with a soldering tip for a minute. This is my "all-season" carry as

Neither single stack or double stack micro compacts fit in my hand comfortably, the Max 9 is just right. Finding it on sale was a bonus.

I've had this gun for nearly a year, and I have carried it just about everyday since. It is great for what it is. The high-visibility front sight is a nice upgrade to have on a cheaper firearm. Gun has always been accurate.

At first, I was very skeptical, Sportsmans warehouse had it on sale for 379. I was really taken back how it felt in my hand. I will be adding this to my EDC rotation.

I have taken it out to the range and have found it a pleasant experience. I was specifically looking for a larger capacity every day carry gun with night sights. This actually makes a very good everyday carry weapon even in a pocket holster.

Great gun, perfect size for carry. Feels really good in my hand. Wish the trigger did not as much take up, but not enough of a problem to bother how good it shoots.

Took out of box, examined it, cycled it and then started operation test to see if it was a gun that I would carry. Had two shooters, that alternated the two mags. Ran 220 rds of 115gr FMJ thru it. Only stopped to reload the mags. Gun is a keeper! Cycled very well, no problems. Gun has a little muzzell flip. Typical for a 3.2 inch barrell. Highly recommend this personal carry weapon. I like the two mags that came with the gun. Nice metal finish. Cleaned the gun and was pleasantly

Great gun for conceal & carry. Small enough to put in my sweatshirt pocket & good fit in my hand with the extended clip length.

Pleasant surprise. Trigger is longish and a little spongy, but smooth and consistent. Slide has a little play/rattles, but this tightens some with a loaded mag and is not noticeable during carry. Cleaned it and went to the range. First 100+ rounds with multiple factory ammo manufacturers cycled perfectly. Accuracy was a great surprise. Sub 4" groups at 10paces all kinds of ammo, offhand, fairly rapid fire. Front tritium sight is bright day/night. Compact with good balance. Solid product Ruger! Wish they had illuminated the rear also or at least outlined with white.

Was skeptical because I haven’t had any luck in the past with Ruger pistols, but this gun is great. The texture is perfect as well as the grip size. Right out of the box I was hitting everything.

Got this smaller 9mm pistol as a travel pistol for California legality. It shoots great and 10 round capacity is nice. Got it on sale, so I couldn’t pass it up. Ruger lcp max was too small but Max-9 fits my hand better. High dove tail makes recoil more manageable. I would recommend this for a carry or home defense pistol.

i am very pleased with my purchase of this pistol. I used the discount I was offered from Ruger to purchase a Viridian green laser from SHOPRUGER.COM. I also purchased a Sig Sauer Romeo Zero red dot sight. I was able to order a custom holster from Gunnerscustom holsters that accomadated my setup. The MAX-9 Pro at $299 was a bargain in my opinion. I have purchased several firearms from Sportsmans Warehouse and have not regetted any of them.

Really nice micro 9. I carry an sig 365xl most the time but had been looking into the Ruger for my wife. This gun has a lot of upgrades for the money that you don’t find on many others in this class or price range. The optics ready and TFO (tritium fiber optic ) front sight is really nice. I was so impressed after our first range session that I ordered myself one as well. She got the regular version that has the thumb safety and I got the pro that does not. The trigger has a lot of take up and a

Purchased this for my girlfriend as a birthday gift. She's left handed and converting the magazine release for her was very easy. Will be shooting it for the first time in a couple of weeks as my cancer has not allowed us to go out and be in public. It will be her "EDC" firearm.
