1 year agoI wanted one of these for a long time and finally got around to buying one - it is a beautiful example of the gun makers art and I recommend it highly. I was a little unhappy with the way it was packed and shipped - there was insufficient packing paper to keep the box from moving around violently in the overlarge box it was packed in - it came out of it's own box and sustained some minor damage to the stock - other than that great service

1 year agoBe aware that the breakdown feature of this rifle will not keep the scope aligned with the barrel! The scope mounts on the breech, but the barrel is removable from the breech, so each time you break down the gun for travel you change the scope alignment with the barrel. You will still be close to the original "zero" of the scope, but the accuracy will change somewhat each time you take the gun apart. 1 year agoI received a new Browning .22 Auto for Christmas, 1959. I was 8 years old. I still have this rifle. It is without a doubt the best .22 auto made. I know mine has conservatively 50k rounds through it.. I wouldn't doubt if it's 75k. This rifle went everywhere with me. It now resides in my safe but does come out occasionally to dispatch a pesky backyard squirrel. Don't hesitate to buy one!
