The feature-rich S20 Precision is the next generation of Sako precision rifle. By its nature, the Sako S20 is a modular rifle that is designed to allow the shooter to change its stock configuration to meet their needs. The S20 Precision features a stock designed specifically for those who are interested in recreational and competitive precision shooting. The rear of the S20 Precision’s stock features a recoil pad that is adjustable for height, angle, and length of pull (using spacers). The underside of the stock has an M-LOK attachment point for monopod placement or a bag rider. The S20 stock also features a quick-adjust cheekpiece to ensure perfect eye alignment with mounted optics. The Sako S20 Precision ships with a 5 round (3 for magnum calibers) Cartridge Plus magazine, that provides extra length for reloaders. The forend of the S20 Precision features additional M-LOK attachment points for the mounting of bipods and barricade stops as well as quick-detach points for sling hardware.
The Sako S20’s stainless steel action is brand new and features a 3-lug, push feed bolt with plunger ejection to maximized reliability. The Cerakoted receiver of the S20 features a machined Picatinny rail that allows for the easy mounting of riflescopes. The trigger of the S20 is adjustable for pull weight and for position within the trigger guard (± 7mm) to ensure an absolute perfect length of pull for the shooter. The barrel of the S20 is made from stainless steel and fluted to reduce weight and barrel cool down time. The muzzle of the rifle is 5/8×24 threaded, allowing for the addition of muzzle devices like suppressors or brakes.

1 year agoThis rifle looks and feels like a 400 dollar Cabela rifle. no kidding. The stock is so freaking cheap looking and feels hollow. I have not shot it yet but they tell me it is a good shooter. It just doesnt have the feel and look of a quality rifle. And this is coming from a big Sako fan.

1 year agoLove this gun. I have both Hunter and Tactical Stock types. Sako accuracy out of the box; Silky smooth bolt action; Cold Forge Barrel - no break-in required; Excellent bedding and frame structure; and Included Sako Muzzle Break is clean fit/finish and effective. Great Sako S20 accessories: Factory Optilok scope mount base come in 0, or 20 MOA and together with Sako S20 Rings provide very solid scope mount. Adjustable cheek piece found on both stock type works smooth and precisely. Available S20 10-round magazines, M-lok Monopod, Stock spacers; ARCA and Picatinny rails.....all fit and perform beautifully.

1 year agoThis is a good rifle from Sako. Sako is coming out with a new version so the older version on sale at EuroOptic is a bargin. After shooting for a while, here are my thoughts: PROs: 1) Very accurate. 2) Very modular especially the Precision version. You can modify it with a variety of Sako and aftermarket accessories. 3) Mags are polymer but great and cheap. 4) Manual of arms is easy. CONs: 1) It is heavy even in the Hunter version. If you are using a 30-06 or less, get the Tikka. 2) Stock is cheap feeling but it works. 3) Picatinny rail does not have built in 20 MOA cant. Overall, I highly recommend this rifle.

1 year agoI love the Sako S2 Precision 300 Win Mag it is a real tack driver. I added an Ultradyne Apollo LR 300 Muzzle Brake which helped reduce the recoil and muzzle rise. I also added a Vortex Razor HD LH T 4.5-22x50 FFP with MRAD and I used my Military discount. I am going to use my extra Atlas Bidpod so I will be set. I purchased a S20 sling and some extra mags. I can't think of anything else that might need?

1 year agoIt's a SAKO precision,,, what else can be said. I highly recommend this product and would buy another. You can't go wrong with a SAKO. Many shooters make the big mistake in buying a rifle based off someone's else story of how well it holds groups. FYI, The best shooting rifle in the world can produce the worst grouping in the world based upon the shooter behind the rifle. There's so many things that determines or effects a good grouping. DO your homework and find out what works for you

1 year agoI bought this gun in this precision platform. Additionally I also ordered the pistol grip “hunter” stock. So I run the precision front carriage with the hunter stock. In the .300 win mag. The precision front allows mlok. So I added a mag pull bi-pod. I also run a Leopoldo vx-5. I ordered from Beretta the Sako muzzle break. And finally I have a ferro concepts two point harness and a strike grip in the front under barrel mlok as well. Which is allowed since this gun is mlok capable. REVIEW: I not

1 year agoGreat rifle. When I tested the trigger pull with a Lyman trigger pull measured 1lb 6oz for an average weight in two groups of five measures. That's a damned nice trigger new, and right out of the box. Mounted a Zeiss Conquest V4 6-24x50, and ready for my first range session on Monday.
