I would have loved to give this Rifle 5 Stars, it has a very nice trigger, and is very accurate, very light recoil, great caliber, but it does not feed smoothly, you have to be a little aggressive with the bolt.

5/5 on this rifle. Ruger has stepped up their game for a sub $400 rifle. SubMOA accuracy with factory match ammo and it shoots 1.5-2MOA with Wolf steel cased ammo. It feeds well with ASC, ELander, and CPD mags as well. Couldn't be happier. I prefer to shoot this bolt gun in 6.5 Grendel compared to my gas Grendels, very soft and easy to spot shots with a muzzle brake. GrabAGun shipped it fast, from the date of purchase to my FFL was 3 days total. Thanks guys!

Very accurate, nicely designed especially for a "budget" class rifle. The only complaint I have, which is being a bit picky, is that the bolt is not very smooth operating. But having said that, the accuracy more than makes compensates for any dislikes. I have got more 5 shot cloverleafs from a number of different bullets and powder combinations than any of my other used calibers. I would definitely but another!

Really surprised how well this rifle shoots. Will shoot moa 5 shot groups with factory ammo and sub-moa groups with handloads.

Extremely accurate right out of the box. Remove and loctite rail first as it was loose from factory. Also had some kind of gunk or glue all over it. Very impresed with how good this thing shoots though. Fit and finish on par with any other entry level bolt gun.

When I first cycled the action it was not very smooth, but now it is functioning great. The stock is fairly stiff for a composite stock too. I really like that this rifle uses AR -15 magazines and not the cheap Ruger rotary magazines. I will be buying more Ruger American rifles in the future.

The rifle is SUB MOA all day long. The round is accurate out of the AR15, out of The Ruger America Predator it is a one hole wonder. Do the right break in and find the ammo it likes it’s worth it! FYI a night optic makes this a light weight hog gun.

I had a weak moment when I found this rifle on the GrabAGun site and do not regret it! As others have said, the action is a bit rough. It has smoothed out with use. Even though it theoretically can use AR-15 mags, I opted to purchase 6.5 Grendel specific mags due to witnessing problems by others who chose not to spend the extra $. I did my usual break-in then ran 2 Hornady and 4 Federal rounds through the rifle. Most were sub MOA right out of the box, worst was 1.5” at 100 yds. (A total of … Read More

So far I think it is a outstanding well made rifle. I have shot it six times so far and it is something. Enjoy the way it handles and shooting it. Very little recoil. Very good product I just placed a order for the Ranch Rifle in a 350 legend, 16 in barrel. Hoping to have some fun with it as well.

GOT this Grendel predator after the first one came scarred up with scratches down to the bare metal. this one arrived with minimal marks, but still not spotless. gave it a good cleaning and the rifle must have been test fired because it took several patches to get the barrel clean. Degreased the barrel after cleaning and headed to the range to foul the barrel with my selected powder and get a rough sighting at 100 yards. On the 5th shot I was busting small dirt clods on the 100 yard berm. … Read More

Two problems the magazine is LoOse and it falls down i the front and trying to load a single Round is hard to put the round in the chamber because you can’t just lay it on the magazine and FEed it into the chamber. Shoots hornady black 140 gr. Ve good. WILL make good Hunting carry gun.

I only wish I would've bought it when it first came out. Sub moa with Speer 90 grain hp's and a Vortex viper. the mcarbo trigger spring I have coming will make it even better. Taking it out coyote hunting in the morning.
