The OI (Optics Installed) model features an optic-cut slide with a Crimson Trace CT-1500 series red dot sight.

This model features a black finish and comes with three magazines. One 10-round, 11-round and 13-round magazine is included.

Fantastic gun. This is my first Kimber and it’s great. The gun shoots well, has excellent grouping, and is even better with the prices and was even better with the service, speed, and ease of ordering from EuroOptic. This won’t be my last order from the company, they were great!

Brand new, out of the box problem with the slide accepting ammo...we'll see how Kimber resolves this but not really great confidence builder in the product. Makes me wish i picked the P365X or the S&W Shield.

Fired my R7 today for first time. CT needed much adjustment; yet, another great Kimber to my collection. Eurooptic was fantastic. Great, easy website and shipped same day!

Kimber has a sterling reputation for top-notch guns. My wife loves her Micro 9! When I read the reviews of the Mako R7 I decided to purchase one sight unseen. The fit and finish was everything I have grown to expect from Kimber. I love this gun! There were, however, two small hiccups with the gun. The installed Krimson Trace claims in the manual that it is sighted in for a particular distance from the factory. The first range trip proved this to be incorrect. It shot 3" low at only 10 yards. After the first 30 rounds, my groupings started to drift to the right significantly. This is when I discovered the second hiccup. The rear sight has come loose and was well on its way to falling off. After some expedient field maintenance, we were back in business.

Great shooter with a clean pull. The tritium night sights and red dot co-witness perfectly. It is now my EDC and I would definitely recommend you get one before I get a second one as a BUG.

First time on range had several jams on ejection port. I was using Winchester 115g range ammo. The trigger gets better after several rounds, but not as smooth as expected. I did fire around 150 rounds with about 8 jams. Not a fan of the side ejection port.

500 + rounds no jams , super accurate, best carry shooter I've had. You will love the ejection port and trigger pull.

I like everything about it! I did order another 13 round magazine, because I prefer the extra length for my grip!!

I went camping and did some plinking. I’m very happy with the purchase. It was hitting dead on with fixed sights. The grip fit well and the pistol points naturally. I adjusted the holosight to point of aim on the fixed sights. The action is smooth and the magazine release and insertion was nearly effortless unlike a couple other of my micro cart guns. It was available cheaper at other retailers but the cost of transfer would probably outweigh the gain. Again, I’m very happy with the purchase.

Fired at range today. Minor adjustments to red dot. Next 20 rounds dead center on bullseye at 25 yes. Cover all with 3 inch bullseye patch. Night sights on center but 1 1/2 in low at 25 yds. Super happy with this pistol.

The r7 Mako is one of the best guns I have ever owned. Very accurate out the box, great shot placements and conceals very well.

As a former Army officer, I’ve trained with pistols quite a bit. I also own a couple other 9mm, including the S&W M&P. I’ve wanted a Kimber for a long time so I was excited to get my hands on this one. I bought the OI version and fired 150 rounds for the first time yesterday. The trigger is absolutely amazing. The Mako fires great...Read More Read more about review stating Excellent package - also great for EDC!

Excellent trigger. No creep at all. The optic is budget, but works well and came zeroed. I chose this over the p365 or hellcat.

Ok it might not be the smallest of the “micro” double stacks, but it’s well in sub compact range and shoots more like a full size. My first pistol with a RD but I should be key holing shots after few trips to the range. Can’t wait to work this into the carry rotation.
