Kimber K6S DASA

Kimber has done it again. I am very impressed, this is a well built and quality firearm. No complaints here.

It's a toss up between the K6s and the Colt King Cobra. This is a fine, smooth, exceptional revolver.

I'm interested but .357 magnum ammo is somewhat hard to find and very expensive when it's the " good stuff " ammo.

It is a beautiful revolver, triger action is smooth and gun is pretty accurate. the only thing to complain about is the grip design, there is a nutch that fits between your thumb and pointer finger when you hold the gun. I purchased the original K6S when it first came out. That was a terrific gun but this one is even better. With the addition of the hammer and the single action trigger this is the perfect carry gun. I've owned Smith & Wesson's for over 30 years. But I feel that the Kimber K6S is far superior.

I picked up the Kimber K6s Combat less than 24 hours so I have not had a chance to fire it. However, I doubt that there will be any issues. If so, I will follow up with an updated review. This Kimber was the perfect choice for me for conceal carry. I have used numerous 9mm pistols but old age has taken a toll on my ability to rack some autos. And since I have experienced a stroke, little use of one hand and arm. Well-made revolver. Excellent sights. Poorly assembled by Kimber, such as poorly brushed finish, partially damaged screws during assembly, and a ton of Mil-Comm on the inside. Good for 38 Special +P. For 357 magnum grips have to be changed. Great for concealed carry with 38 Special +P with original grips.
