I'm impressed with the rossi rb 17. It's a very nice rifle for a low price. I mounted a nikon buckmasters 4-12 X 40 scope on it.

took the rifle out of the box made sure barrel was clear put the bolt in checked to make sure it worked put a round in the clip and it would not load into the chamber returned it to the store and it was shipped back to rossi.

I wanted a .17 caliber HMR for some time. I liked the Rossi due to its lightweight composite stock. The price point on this rifle and its quility build make it an excellent value. I mounted a scope on the installed Weaver scope mounts and found the rifle to exhibit excellent accuracy. I would recommend this product and Sportsman's Warehouse made the buying process easy and convenient.

Seems to be fairly accurate but it splits shell case’s upon firing. I’m not sure if that’s a defect or not but my buddy has the savage and it’s way more accurate and no split shell cases

The stock is cheap and flexible, will not extract spent shells on a regular basis must use a small screwdriver to remove, every part of the trigger system is plastic-trigger,sear, housing, everything. The problem is the trigger assembly is sandwiched between the stock and the barrel with shallow threads making it prone to rocking. So to make things better I added a recoil pad for the xtra inch of lop, crown work, bolt polish, pillar and bed job and a lot of shaping and sanding for barrel

I really like the rifle, the only issue I have with it is the ease of taking the bolt out. If it wasn’t for that I would have given it a five star review.

Very accurate extremely light good looking rifle. Had trouble extracting empty rounds thought it was going to have to be returned for repair. Discovered bur on edge of breach interfering with extractor hooking on rimfire edge. I think it's ok now I'll see with further testing.

Very accurate, easily pick off ground squirrels at 200 yards plus. Light weight, trigger is around 2lbs, fun to shoot. It can be a little finicky with loading the first round other than that no complaints. At this point I have just over 200 rounds through it.

Nice rifle ! Got mine for just under $200, that included a case and scope. I didn't need it, but that didn't stop me from buying. I really like the Rossi brand..

Awesome gun all the way around functions well in all areas very accurate and the price is unbeatable would definitely make the purchase again have same caliber but it's a marlin and way more expensive and I have a hard time getting the clip out it jams up on me so for the money the Rossi is ideal purchase

Very smooth action. Better than my RB22M. One inch groups at 100 yards with 4-12 scope. Very accurate. Highly recommend.

Nice, inexpensive gun. Great varmint rifle. Accurate, smooth shooter. Really like this rifle. Action is a little stiff but I'm sure after shooting it a little more it will be smooth as silk.

Quality for money spent. This fire arm is great when training women and junior students ease of handling. Size matters and I can feel comfortable using it for targets and pest removal. Ammunition is fairly reasonable and available most everywhere. Also it is moving at the same rate as high power rounds 2000 to 2550 ft per second it’s not your twenty two class round. It will reach out and touch your target at two hundred yards plus. Also you get fifty rounds for less than the twenty high power rounds normal cost. It’s a silent giant fun for all.

Bought this for my 8 year olds birthday and paired it with a vortex copperhead 4x12 from Amazon ($130). Great little gun. It's super light and easy for him to operate, also, very accurate. I'm thinking of buying another one for me. Lots of fun.

Unbelievable little rifle. Needed a replacement for my old Remington Model 592 5mm Rimfire Magnum because ammo is so expensive if you can find it. The 17HMR ballistics are close to the 5mm magnum so I started looking for one. Spotted this little Rossi on sale for $169 and couldn't pass it up. I own a Rossi .22 Magnum semi-auto which is a fantastic little rifle, so I took a chance on this one and glad I did. Smooth, light, and very accurate, and at a great price.

Great little budget 17HMR I've shot around 300rds through mine with no issues. Slapped a inexpensive 3-9X32mm Centerpoint scope on it and it shoots dime size groups at 100yds. Wonderful rifle.

Excellent, you have no problem we put an OMMO 3-9X40 Rifle Scope, Red Green Illuminated Optical Mil-Dot Riflescope for Hunting, with Flip-Open Covers, this Rossi b.17hmr is better than a .22lr does not have to envy the savage or mossberg ,. love the b.17 rossi i bought it in a palmetto special thank you.
