The BPS has been upgraded for 2020, but you get to see it now. Browning’s new BPS has a mix of a classic look with modern fit and handling. It starts with a new satin finished walnut stock, a matte blued barrel with a ventilated rib, as you would expect from a Browning. Then the stock has been slightly reconfigured to offer a faster, more natural feel. The Inflex recoil pad offers excellent comfort and the new checkering surfaces offer a superior grip. The trigger guard is slightly larger, offer an advantage when hunting with gloved hands. The floating rib allows the rib and barrel to expand at different rates and move independently of each other. The floating rib prevents the point of impact shifts caused by barrel heating. The height of the rib gives a good view of your target. Unique to the BPS is its bottom feed and ejection port. Shells are loaded and ejected from the bottom, leaving one less port for dirt and debris to enter the action. Likewise, a left-handed shooter won’t end up ejecting empty hulls into their face. Combined with the top tang safety, this gun is truly ambidextrous. A newly designed stock with a new look. Larger trigger guard. Matte blue finish barrel and forged/machined steel receiver, bottom ejection, satin finish walnut, pump action all with superior fit and new checkering surfaces.

Hunter Bee
1 year agoI bought this shotgun 18 months ago. Shot two turkeys with it this season. This shotgun is just point, aim and shoot gets the job done. A very reliable shotgun.

1 year agoFirstly, it just fit me right. Its a bit heavy, but feels nice to shoulder and swing. After a waterfowl season and a couple thousand rounds at the clays course, the action is like butter. I just love this gun.

1 year agoRecoil pad poorly fit. The pad is smaller the buttstock all the way around with gap between pad and stock. This issue takes away from an otherwise nice firearm, expected more for the price.

1 year agoThis is a well built gun. Looks great and functions well. But, the gun I got was over a quarter pound heavier than the specified weight. I will have to see how far I want to carry the heavier gun.

Missouri Doug
1 year agoI have owned this gun for 10+ years. It is well balanced and shoots straight. Good for clays and turkeys. I am especially fond of the bottom eject which makes it ambidextrous and keeps the hulls right at my feet for easier clean up. I am happy to spend the extra money on this over a Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 which are also great guns.
