1 year agoBought this gun a few weeks ago to use as my concealed carry gun, and I absolutely love it. It's slim and the aluminum frame has the weight very low compared to other 1911's. Shot 200 rounds without a single mishap, don't expect to see any problems with this one.

1 year agoI bought this pistol a few months ago and it is now my favorite. Comfortable to hold and and great trigger. Significantly lighter than steel frame 1911s.

1 year agoHorrible for concealed carry. Why call a pistol "pro carry" when carrying it ruins the weapon because sub-par materials are used to construct it?

1 year agopurchased week ago at bass pro in concord nc. service was excellent ! sales staff very helpful. about 200 rounds in with various 9 and 10 round mags, excellent carry gun, easy to conceal under summer clothing. very accurate works well with both my kydex and leather owb holsters. soft shooter with very manageable recoil.

1 year agoLove the pistol. Best handgun I own. Online purchase process was great. A month after I purchased it I got an email saying I picked it up a month after I actually got it. Found the same pistol a week after buying for $50 less. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

1 year agoBought this gun new. Accuracy out of the box was very poor! The gun shot to the left about 4 inches. The sights are non-adjustable. Took it to a gunsmith and had the sights replaced with fiber optics and set correctly. After spending the extra money on better sights, the gun does shoot very accurately now. At 25 yards it will shred a bullseye. Performs flawlessly. Poor factory sights and factory sight settings.

1 year agoThe gun is nice but the one that was given to me by Bass Pro Shop was all scratched like it was a display one, and I have to fix it.

1 year agoFirst 1911 I have ever bought. Was a little nervous as I have read other reviews about Kimbers quality control. First 200 rounds out of the box and not a single malfunction and great accuracy. Would highly recommend.

1 year agoLet me start by saying that I have put 400 rounds of ball ammo (124 and 115 grain) through this firearm and it hasn't had one issue! I did notice that when shooting outside in the heat, because there is no front-strap checkering, it does move around a bit! Additionally, I changed out the sights that came with it as they are plain white for night sights (just a personal preference thing). Bear in mind this does only come with 1 magazine, which (unless you're just going to use it as a plinker) is just not enough for regular practice/carry purposes! This is a very accurate and light-shooting firearm, the build quality is excellent and its accuracy is better than mine :-)
