2 years agoGreat takedown rifle - fun to shoot. Solid lockup mechanism so it retains it’s accuracy. Breakdown and reassembly is easy. I love the Magpul stock,…it holds extra mags and the barrel clips into it when you have it broken down. It came packed with 3 extra mags...

2 years agoWell built, compact rifle - went out for my first plunking run with it, a little reflex sight and two 25-rd magazines... Very satisfying, easy to use. ????????

2 years agoVery cool take on the 10/22, great features, really handy and lightweight. Great value with the stock and 4 magazines included.

1 year agoI love a suppressed .22 and this one comes ready to silence. Doesn't quite run 100% but what .22 does? Maybe another brick or two and it'll go 80 to 100 rounds without a FTF. But it's a very compact and fun gun to spend an afternoon with!

1 year agoGreat rifle for backpacking or bikeing. I like that it folds down to a nice compact package that can easily fit in a pack. It comes with 4 x 10 round box magazines (3 fit in the stock) and a rail for mounting optics. It is very easy and quick to remove and install the barrel. One thing I did not think about until I had it in the field is that when the barrel (and chamber) is removed, it is like having an extra safety. A nice feature when climbing a mountain with a potential for loose

1 year agoBeen wanting this model of the 10/22 for sometime. Love the backpacker stock it comes with and in OD green! Four, 10 round mags, threaded barrel, sling points for quick detach swivels, compartment in the stock to store 3 of the mags or whatever you can think of. Storage space in the handle too! What's not to love about this .22LR?!

1 year agoHaven't had a chance to put it to use, but I love the ability to minimize the footprint. Also, the color us nowhere near as bright as the picture, which was a relief. Standard OD green.

1 year agoTook it out and got it zeroed, and it's a solid rifle. Sig Sauer Romeo 5 on top, and getting a can for it. More in accessories than the rifle, but the ammo will save me long term. Decent groups, cheap ammo, 40 rounds carried on the rifle, and can put it in my pocket. What's not to love?

1 year agoShoots straight and is very compact when breaking it down into a backpack. Comes with 4 clips, a chin riser and a rail to add on a scope or red dot. Also threaded at the end in case of "accessories". Looks and feels awesome.

1 year agoExcellent rifle at a great price. It’s been reliable and accurate. The sights were dialed in, right out of the box. I love the X-22 Backpacker stock. Pick one up the next time they’re available!

1 year agoWhat can I say, I’m in love with this simple set up. When I go on hikes and need to carry something that fits in my backpack to go after small game. This is such a great set up for quick breakdown. I like how easy it is to change the stock to whatever magpul color you are into.

1 year agoI store this rifle in a padded trumpet soft carry bag, fits nicely with room for ammo, ear and eye protection, and a small cleaning kit. I like the fiber optic sights. Stock holds mags and ammo.

1 year agoThe description isn't too clear on what is included, so I will elaborate: - Rifle with 1/2x28 threaded barrel and fiber optic sights - FOUR 10 round magazines - Cheek riser This model DOES NOT have a bag like the standard takedown model (which I knew), but the Magpul backpacker stock is far more valuable than another bag. The standard sight is surprisingly decent, but you will want a scope if you do any target shooting. The weaver rail included is definitely lacking like

1 year agoGreat rifle. I wish it came with the magpul QD sling hardware, but that's ok. Be sure to adjust your takedown ring to proper tension if you're having problems with accuracy- check the manual. No problems returning to zero after takedown/reassembly. Great for camping, fishing trips etc.

1 year agoGuns.com stated condition "Good." I'd say "Very Good" to "Excellent." Looks like it was test fired at the factory, and that's it. Came with the carrying case, manuals, lock, and even a decal. The included 25 round mag showed no signs of use. I'm impressed.

1 year agoBest gun purchase I've made. They had inventory on the gun I wanted at a fair price with quick secure shipping. Sent me a tracking number quickly and had my gun "out the door" the same day of purchase.

1 year agoI purchased this rifle brand new, as a gift for my daughter. The safety button does not push in all the way. You can still see parts of the red. The chamber has rusty oil in it. The finish on the stock is worn out in certain areas and contains scratches. The magazine in came with gets stuck and is very difficult to load compared to the spare Ruger...Read More Read more about review stating Do not purchase form this site.

1 year agoAs always, a nice gun from Ruger with a great Stock from Magpul and 5 magazines to boot...! Also, an alternative cheekpiece for use with a scope and scope mount included, too...!

1 year agoThe Ruger 10/22 is the quintessential rifle in my mind. I had a basic model for many years and I just picked up a used Takedown model from Guns.com. It arrived in pretty much new condition with a lot of bonus accessories which is great. I saved a bunch of cash. I love being able to pack this rifle on my motorcycle for overnight trips. Loving it.

1 year agoAfter owning two regular 10/22s (both about 45 y.o.) - I bought the PC Carbine in 9mm - The trigger assembly was copied from the 10/22 - AND it was a take-down - I loved the "take-down" so much I had to buy another 10/22 - a "take-down". Same accuracy and functionality of the "long" gun with the ability to take-down for easy storage and packin...Read More Read more about review stating This is a practical "Fun Gun"
