2 years agoLike my other Springfields, I love the look, and I am especially excited about the META trigger. I haven’t had the chance to actually to take my XD-M Elite to the range yet, but if it’s anything like my XD-Mod. 2, it should be a pleasure to shoot. With only iron sights, I can shoot respectable groups out to 25 yards with my XD-Mod. 2. With the addition of the Hex Dragon Red Dot Sight, I expect nothing less from my XD-M Elite.

1 year agoLove the FEEL of the pistol. Have issues with the firing pin not striking hard enough at the primer but blew out the firing pin area with a compressor AFTER first CLEANING. It seemed to work but then the indicator pin Was not showing after racking a round in the chamber and having to pull the slide back a little bit without ejecting the round to chamber a round and be able to shoot the pistol. To say the least I am sending it off to Springfield armory to fix the issue.

1 year agoEasy to handle, crazy reliable, perfect form factor and ergonomics that REALLY work for me. And a match barrel too? At this price?? This is my seventh Springfield and I’ve stopped buying other brands. I became brand loyal after an amazing customer service experience- they back it all up.

1 year agoI am very pleased with my purchase. It was shipped and received in a timely manner. I'll be taking it to the Range soon, and I'm sure I'll enjoy my shoot. Thanks again, Guns.com!

1 year agoGreat capacity and plenty of stopping power packed in a small firearm. Quick target Acquisition andI like the carry feel.

1 year agoThis thing is way off, I have to pin the front sight all the way to the right from the rear sight just to make it shoot straight, you can look at the sights and see there installed crooked, my CZ75B and my Canik 9mm are dead on straight, Right out of the box!! this gun will never protect you from a charging animal or person... you'll have a better...Read More Read more about review stating Shoots crooked - Sights are way off!

1 year agoHave not shot the gun yet #springfieldarmory included the wrong mounting bracket for the Hex optic and still waiting. Gun looks really nice just waiting to mount the red dot and shoot it. Springfield told me they would send me the bracket as soon as they get them in. I have been waiting for three weeks…

1 year agoI got this to upgrade from a M&P Shield (the base model) because it is 7+1 or 8+1. It is really nice to have 14+1 in an EDC. The sights are really well made and easy to shoot from. I got the OSP ready model, and it comes with a free OSP plate from their website, which is really nice. It does come with 2x 14 magazines and ...Read More Read more about review stating Awesome EDC / CCW

1 year agoGun is awesome but I have always loved SA. But Guns.com gets the big kudos here. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and had the gun arrive at my FFL in North Carolina on Monday. Unbelievable! I am more than satisfied. Thank you!

1 year agoAbsolutely fantastic addition. Feels great in my hand and smooth trigger pull. The sights take a little to get use to. But once you do it’s smooth sailing. I went with the extended mags and it feels better (I have large hands).

1 year agoDecent 9mm pistol For a compact pistol, it feels my hand nicely The included sight has no shake awake feature making it useless for actually self defense, unless you want to constantly change batteries. I see the sight as a only useful for target practice. I find it a bit too edgy for CC, especially with the sight, but that's mostly a body shape issue

1 year agoOverall the pistol is great and usual springfield quality. The package with the hex dragonfly I received did not come with the mounting plate or screws. Had to inquire springfield to get those items in order to mount the optic and get it sighted in. After working out this kinks the pistol is really accurate and reliable.

1 year agoI’m thoroughly happy with my XDM Elite. It’s a sweet shooter and I’m liking the optic. Great transaction! Fast shipping, good price…what more could I ask for?

1 year agoOlder eyes...rear, front sights and target do not all come into focus....the Hex Dragonfly is my first red dot. Absolutely love the pistol and the META trigger and the red dot is dead on accurate. Have had several friends shoot it and they are jealous. Ordered it form Palmetto and had it shipped to another FFL. Perfect side gun for OWB carry. Extra mags are a bit pricey and finding holsters with the optics cutout is few and hard to find but I got one straight from Springfield and now I have a free magazine subscription also from Springfield. Overall my new favorite.

1 year agoReally enjoy this pistol. It's comfortable to fire at the range. My bad though on not considering the weight for a carry gun. Would've been better served with the Springfield Armory XD-S MOD 2 OSP Crimson Trace. This is just for me personally with 9 oz. less wt. But I would lose out on the mag capacity so trade offs are hell. Happy with the purchase , the gun seems solid. One helpful comment to future buyers would be get the serial number (off the Dragonfly) FIRST before installing the optic.

1 year agoIts alright, but even after you swap out the backstap and get the extended magazine, if you got bigger hands this is probably not the compact for you.
