American Eagle 380 Auto/ACP 95gr FMJ Ammunition 50rds – AE380AP

This modern ammo feeds, fires and ejects flawlessly in the Beretta 85BB (9mm Short/380ACP). It's slightly higher muzzle velocity of 980 FPS (203 Ft.Lb) complements the stiffer recoil spring for better cycling. Natural point of aim with the Figure-8 style sights. It has a very similar firing profile to that of the Hornady Critical Defense 380ACP, (1590067) in the Beretta 85BB. Federal American Eagle 380ACP (AE380AP) ammo is a great training round if you carry Hornady Critical Defense ammo in your Beratta 85BB. Please be very careful to only buy the modern round-head Federal FMJ rounds (AE380AP) with a muzzle velocity of 980 FPS (203 Ft.Lb). An obsolete, 955 FPS flat-head version exists - with the UPC: 885344360146. This will jam the Beretta 85BB.

Purchased about 2k rounds of this ammo for training/practice, used about 500. No jams, no malfunction of any kind. It’s used in my wife’s Sig P238. We’ve tried other rounds but the only ammo that her Sig likes is the Sig vcrown JHP and this. Not as accurate, but less than half the cost of the JHP Sig. Some that we’ve tried are the Winchester, S&B, and about three other brands. The Winchester malfunctioned one out of every 5, S&B 1 out of 25, and dirtier. Best price and availability have been on Palmetto State Armories.

It's great to be able to get ammo again. No issues with any of the rounds. Great purchase for the range.

They shot fine out of my Tarus spectrum. No problems with feeding of any kind. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I'm just not used to paying these prices for ammo. But under the circumstances the price was better then other sites I looked at.

There is no higher quality ammo of any caliber than that produced by Federal. I have never had a mis-fire or a cycling issue with Federal ammo.

Great ammo! Runs well in my lcp max and my Taurus Spectrum. I'm a fan of anything Federal makes. Hoping for lower prices in the future, but it is what it is. Stay safe!
