the thunder ranch 590 is the Perfect shotgun for home defense or just a day of fun at the range. pump action is very smooth. three accessory rails on the forearm (perfect for mounting lights, etc). short length of pull makes it ideal for shooters of all sizes. fiber optic front sight is very bright. tang mounted safety is good for both right and left handed shooters. "door breacher" muzzle brake is a nice feature (plus, it just looks cool). sweet camo pattern on stock and forearm. the included sling is much appreciated. Mossberg and thunder ranch have got a winner!

I carry this in my 4X4 pickup, it has worked flawless with everything I put through it, very reliable. I was asked if this would work for home defense, it is short so I feel it could be maneuvered easy indoors.
