Anschutz 1710 D KL 22LR Rifle :
Equipped with a match single stage trigger, heavy barrel and classic walnut stock
Anschutz 54 action has dual locking lugs seated eccentrically in the receiver giving the action screws more support for better stock bedding
Anschutz 54 action has claw extractor and the additional cartridge holder with ejector
Bolt face is recessed for full cartridge head support. An independent lateral bolt stop limits the travel of the bolt thus protecting the trigger
Sliding safety catch on the right hand side blocks the trigger sear in the safe position and simultaneously lifts the trigger sear and bolt release latch
I have owned a 54 sporter for 40 years and it is the most accurate rimfire I have ever had . I use RWS ammo, as the Remington match ammo is no longer a available. The rifle cosistantly shoots 5 shot groups at 5o yards that a dime will cover.

When I started shooting I bought a few Anschutz's and all were brilliant guns out of the box then I went to bigger guns and now in approach to old age and want to just shoot a few targets the 1710 is perfect as I do not tolerate inaccurate guns, I started with Anchutz and will finish with one Denis Ireland.
