1 year agoPurchased this for my 8 year old. It’s easy to handle and is exactly what I was looking for. If you’re in the market for a quality youth .22 rifle, then don’t waste your money elsewhere.

1 year agoThough marketed as a compact rifle, I would recommend the M14Y to anyone seeking a solid, well-made .22 field rifle. I was initially concerned that the rear notch sight was not windage adjustable but windage was spot-on straight out of the box. The trigger pull is crisp and without creep. I added a Black Sheep slip-on recoil pad to increase the length of pull, sling swivels and a leather sling. I also painted a red dot on the front sight bead.
