The CW380 pistol has a 2.58 inch barrel, an overall length of 4.96 inches and a height of just 3.9 inches. It weighs just 10.2 ounces without a magazine. The pistol has a black polymer frame and features 4140 steel inserts molded into the front and back of the frame for added rigidity. It has a machined, solid 416 matte stainless steel slide and a textured polymer grip.
The Kahr CW380 features a lock breech, modified Browning type recoil lug, and utilizes Kahr’s seven patents including the “safe cam” action found in all Kahr pistols. The result is a micro-compact pistol with very little recoil and quick follow-up shots. The pistol features drift adjustable white bar-dot combat rear sight and pinned-in polymer front sight.
Differences between the Kahr CW380 and Kahr P380 models include: the CW series has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel found on P models; the CW slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CW series slide has fewer machining operations, and uses simple roll marking instead of engraved markings; the P380 comes with two magazines, but the CW series comes with one 6 rd steel magazine with flush baseplate. Lastly, the slide locks back after firing the last round – another feature missing on a number of other value-priced compact semi-auto pistols. The durability and reliability of the CW380 model makes it a strong consideration as a backup gun for law enforcement.

2 years agoDescent sites that are easy to pick-up, rare in this size of gun. This gun is accurate but the trigger is a bit long in the pull so you do need to practice with it; I wouldn't compare it to a revovlers feel as some do. The only failures to hold open were my thumb riding the slide. There is a 200 round break in period with this gun, and the slide will wear plastic of the frame as it breaks in. Kahr's plastic is a bit toy-ish in finish compared to the competicion

2 years agoGreat gun with low recoil and very accurate. This is my second Kahr CW and both are great. Grabagun was great to deal with. Fast process and delivery.

1 year agoI really wanted to like this gun. It has good sights for a gun this size and is quite accurate at 20 ft. Low recoil for a small gun and feels good in my hand. I do however find it next to impossible to rack the slide. I am a senior with waning hand strength so this is not the gun for me.

1 year agoThis is a well made gun and quite accurate for a gun this size. I found it easy to shoot and it concealed well. The only problem I had was racking the slide. I am a senior with diminished hand strength and found it too difficult for comfort. It’s a good gun but not for me.

1 year agoGreat pocket pistol. I bought the 7 round magazine just for that extra round. Can't tell its in your pocket.

1 year agoI have owned several of these small Kahr pistols and am always amazed at their accuracy. I think they make a great concealed carry pistol for pocket carry or IWB when it is necessary to go with something very small. The primary downside I have found with the CW380s are only one magazine shipped with the pistol and the need to shoot two hundred or so break-in rounds before the pistol functions well.

1 year agoEXCELLENT-BACK up piece or use for the ult imate CONCEAL-ABILITY. Dont forget the break in requirement !!

1 year agoVery small & concealable. Very smooth consistant trigger w/ crisp break. Racking round into battery is not dependable. Must follow exact mfd instructions for in battery assurance.

1 year agoI'm into year 5 with my cw380 and it has never malfunctioned once (bought new). Exceptional quality and smooth operation and perfect pocket gun using Versa CARRY leather holster. Also a good no print owb simple LEATHEr holster ccp. You don't need 10 or more rounds when your job is just to make the bad GUY stand down. 6+1 is sufficient 90 percent of the time according to Fbi stats.

1 year agoI bought the gun for home defense and conceal carry because of its smaller footprint than most other guns on the market its size. It can be carried in a pocket or tucked inside a waistband because of its light weight. I haven't had a chance to fire the gun but after reading generally favorable reviews I believe the gun will meet my needs. The photo shown here is an accurate depiction of the gun. It has a good look and feel.

1 year agoThe gun is nice to shoot and carry. Looks and feels like a quality piece. 300 rounds so far without a hiccup.

1 year agoNice little gun, great Kahr trigger, super reliable. For whatever reason I couldn't shoot this gun accurately compared to my Ruger so it went away.

1 year agoI bought my CW380 from PSA several months back and I have been quite pleased with its performance. While it won't win any competitions it will fill center mass up to about 25 feet. It is safe and reliable and easy to conceal in your front pocket. Paired with good defensive rounds (Federal HST or Remington Micro) it makes an excellent EDC gun. If you're considering a pocket pistol for CCW this is it!

1 year agoI bought this little pistol for my wife to use but she's yet to fire it. I on the other hand always seem to have a reason for dragging it along to the range. It's a blast to shoot. Shoots all kinds of .380 ammo with no FTFs no FTEs. Sweet little gun at a sweet little price. My buddy and I even plan "chick days" which are when we take our little .380 "chick guns" to the range and leave our big manly 1911A1 .45's at home in the safe. The only problem I've noticed thus far has been that I

1 year agoA few very sharp edges on the slide but all of the surfaces that affect operation are polished and pristine. Recoil is unbelievably manageable for such a tiny pistol. As a matter of fact it's no worse than my 9 mm Springfield XDS. The CW380 is also very accurate for a 2.6" barrel. I believe this is partly due to a precision-machined chamber (i.e. machined to the smaller end of the SAMMI tolerance). So far I have had terrible problems with Fiocchi ammo. It simply will not chamber. It's

1 year agoNothing but problems with this gun. Sent back to Kahr twice and they still couldn't get it right. On top of that they do not pay for shipping on warranty claims while requiring you to use expensive overnight shipping. Either the slide locks prematurely or not at all (left handed so I wasn't hitting the lever), and at least 1 to 2 failures to eject each magazine shot (not limp wristing, used a 2 handed death grip to make sure). Many dollars and weeks were spent trying various types of ammunition

1 year agoBought the CW380 just before Christmas several years ago from PSA, thought I would give it a try. Accurate, and although long trigger pull by far the best of any small .380 caliber. After about 400 rounds of ammo and polishing the feed ramp, it consistently cycles. Never had any luck with cheap steel case ammo feeding. Great EDC weapon. So light and small its easy to forget you have it on you.

1 year agoGreat gun(when it wants to run.) Target shooting standard ball ammo usually results in a FTF or a FTE. When using quality defensive loads. Fed. HST Hornandy Critical Defense or something similar, never a hiccup. Basically a little gun you carry alot(with proper ammo)and shoot little.
