1 year agoI bought this simply because I wanted a bolt action 22lr rifle. It shoots very nice! The trigger is excellent. The bolt is easy to work. I attached a basic Cabela's scope on it and I can hit the dead center at 50 yards easily. Nice quality rifle. Not a fan of the magazine or magazine release, but it is a minor issue. I really enjoy shooting this gun!

1 year agoI really like the stock and threaded barrel options on this savage. What I will say though is that the banana magazine (which seems to be the only magazine option) Does not really like the subsonic Aguila rounds I have been putting in it and often does not load easily. The gun shoots good and is light and well made, though so I’m a big fan of it overall.

1 year agoThe quality control of Savage is non-existent. The barrel is not centered in the stock. The bolt handle rides the receiver in such a way that it stops the action from moving. And the safety lever feels and sounds like you break it every time you disengage the safety. Of course Savage won't stand behind their product unless you want to pay to ship it to them so they can "look at it". It's brand new and shouldn't have these issues. Not one round down range and I'm selling it off.

1 year agoI will start by saying this is not about grabagun. Their handling of everything I've purchase has been exceptional. With that being said let's move on to savage. This is the first savage I have purchased. Read the reviews on this gun liked what I saw. Got the gun bolt was in 4 pieces. Instructions did not show how to put it together. not a biggie just surprised. Expecting better from savage and the reason for 4 stars.
