I really like it. Nice wood, matte finish SS , even has a thread protector if you don't like the flash suppressor. Polymer mags feed smoother than the steel one that comes with the gun. Trigger pull is just right for a hunting rifle. Removed the scout rail and installed a full length rail to mount a scope the usual way. So far I have only sighted in in at 100 yards. This is a great rifle and the extra two inches of barrel are practically unnoticeable when the rifle is in hand. Yes the laminated stock is heavier than the composite. It is the price you pay for a much better looking rifle. The pluses, 308, quick handling, bolt gun accuracy, bolt gun reliability, laminate & stainless maintenance, and great looks. The minuses, the steel magazine sucks to load. I will be getting a couple of polymer magazines in the near future. Looking for a nice woods rifle for whitetail and more. You will be hard put top beat this rifle.

Staff was friendly on the phone and made having the rifle shipped a painless task. Gun SHOWed up in the box looking great. Came pretty much sighted in from the factory.

Fit and finish is excellent. Very accurate. Used a red 3/4 red circle with an arrow head symbol for quick target acquisition. works very good but different, going to try a burris scout scope 2.75x20mm with cowitness rings . the bolt is heavy duty. i like the flat finish that the stainless steel barrel has.The balance is very good.black laminate wood furniture looks elegant.expensive but worth every penny.i waited a few years and jumped on this.thanks grabagun.
