If your looking for a 1911 this is a smooth operating 9mm and a .40 or a .45. I’v fired 2 commercial brands and my reloads without any misleads.

This is the Most accurate out-of-the-box pistol i’ve owned and that’s a lot. Target re-acquisition a breeze. Fun to shoot!

Enjoyable to shoot "colt 1911 competition". I've only run 50 rounds through it with no problems. Smooth shooting, I was able to get back on target quickly. Holds a tighter grouping then my S.W. 40 M and P. My experience with guns.com was very good. They kept me informed, from the sale to the delivery to my local gun shop. I will absolutel...Read More Read more about review stating Colt 1911 competition

The Colt 1911 Competition Series is a clean Looking and Shooting gun. My very first 1911 and definitely not that last. I’ve held many 1911’s and this one feels very durable and sturdy compared to other 1911’s. One thing I will complain about though is it only comes with one mag! Other than that the gun is flawless
