The new Galil ACE GEN II is a continuation of the Galil ACE, which is based on the reliable mechanics of the original Galil rifle first developed by IMI in the late 1960’s. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Russian AK-47 and the Finnish Valmet RK 62, the IWI Galil family has been continuously improved over the last 50 years, resulting in today’s extremely reliable and highly accurate Galil ACE GEN II.
This model comes chambered in the 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge. The GEN II series features a full-length top picatinny rail, a free-floated MLOK handguard, and an updated safety and trigger profile for improved handling and operation. The GEN II series also features a side-folding stock with a buffer tube adapter that can accept most aftermarket AR-15 buttstocks, and comes standard with a Magpul CTR stock.

1 year agoHave not got to shoot it yet. But it looks king it’s made good. But it’s hard as hell to fold the brace. I hope to find an easy way to fold it on you tube a guy did it to the gen 1 but idk about gen 2. The grip is smooth and slick as shit. I wish it had any grip on it. I put grip tape on it. 1 year agoAll in all a 100% mechanically, functional and guns.com had the gun in a day only drawback that I’m steel not 100% convinced on is this AK style hood that you have to mount sites an optic on will it return to 100% zero is they claim?
