Consistent accuracy, be it at the range or on the plains. The free-floating barrel of the Tikka T3 Varmint effectively eliminates vibration and will not overheat, even during a fast-paced varmint hunt. The synthetic stock has an extra wide fore-end for benchrest shooting, and the swivel stud accommodates either a bipod or a sling. The ergonomically designed Varmint cheek piece with a large scope provides for a comfortable head position. All Varmint models come with the standard of a 5 or 6 round magazine.
Features:
- This durable rifle has a unique and modern look due to its matte-grey lacquered laminated hardwood stock, this T3 Laminated stainless has a cold-hammer forged, free floating stainless steel barrel
- T1x has a new modular synthetic stock that has interchangeable pistol grips, making it possible to modify the angle of the grip, this allows for multiple shooting positions
- The T3x synthetic stock has a new asymmetrical grip pattern and shape that has been specifically designed to give a solid grip in all conditions
- T3x models come with a new recoil pad technology that reduces the impact of recoil on the shooter, the new robust pad allows you to fully concentrate on the accuracy of your shots
- T3x synthetic stocks now have a foam insert within the interior of the rear stock – this lowers the stock-generated noise and can help you keep your target in sight
- The new T3x receiver introduces a widened angular ejection port that makes it easier to feed one cartridge at a time
- The T3x models have extra screw placements on top of the receiver so that you can robustly attach a picatinny rail – even when using larger scopes
- Robustness and quality go hand in hand, metallic bolt shroud covers and shields the rear of the bolt body and the firing pin
- Steel recoil lug – this extra-strong lug has minimal deformation – even with larger calibers
- Fixed cheek piece
- Changeable grip

1 year agoThe Tikka varmint .223 is a very nice rifle.... very smooth action, easy to adjust trigger, and extremely accurate; even with inexpensive ammo. I've gotten 1/2 - 3/4 MOA @ 100 yards with Federal .55 grain varmint tipped ammo. With Outback .55 grain Blitzkrg I was getting 1/2 MOA @ 100yds and hit 6" gong 5 out of 5 shots at 300yds. Gun really seems to like those Blitz bullets. I expect as good or better results with heavier rounds like 69 grain SMK and 75 grain Horn ELD.

1 year agoI worked for a suppressor company for many years. The Tikka I I worked for a suppressor company. T3x Varmint in 5.56 was our test rifle. Brand new and using a benchrest we regularly shot 1/10” at 100 yards. After 8,000 rounds and normal cleaning we still shot 1/10 of an inch.

1 year agoI've used 4 different "factory" brands of ammo, all are .25MOA. I've never had a rifle that does .25 MOA with more than one brand. Ever!
