ROSSI RS22 22 MAG

I wanted a bolt action but this is all my small town pawn shop had, so I bought it. Had my buddy polish up the feed ramp and give it a good cleaning. I NEVER shot it, even though I have plenty of ammo. My friend at church had his 60th birthday coming up, so I gave this to him. Man, he really liked it ! I also gave him 100 rds. Now I'm back to square one. Had this of been a bolt action, I woulda gave something else..

Only have about 200rds through it. Sighted scope in quickly and proved accurate for my short test. Took it directly to range. Functioned flawlessly. Free floating barrel, good looking stock. Kinda reminds me of the Savage. I really like the detachable mag. Plus, it looks good on the and fits the longer round nicely. Only gripe I have is that the I can’t find any additional mags and the feed lips are polymer. Would be great if a large capacity, more robust mag was made for it.

Absolutely beautiful. Especially for a rifle that you can own for less than $275 USD. I really don’t have anything bad to say about this firearm. It cycles beautifully. It can hold a one inch group at 100 yards and it’s a lot of fun to shoot with. I would strongly recommend this rifle to anyone that is training a youngster as a next step up from his/her .22 LR.

Looks cool and shoots fine (Not straight) the stock came tweaked. When I went to sight I found the stock and barrel are off a few degrees. The barrel is not only loose when tight BUT it sits to one side. Not worth sending back for repair or replacement at this time.

Magazine was cracked when I received it, Rifle was note damage. Rifle should come with two magazines. I have tried to fine an extra magazine, their are none available. And Rossi does not offer any for replacement and that is "SAD"

Great value 22 mag. Decent groups at 100 yards. It’s rimfire why pay big money. Easy loading 10 round magazines and additional are available on Manufacturer website. Pairs nicely with a 3x9 scope.
