Well built gun. The action is smoother than a stock Smith and Wesson. I usually have to do some stoning to get the stock Smith and Wesson action the way I like it but this one is good since it is the Pro Series model and has already been stoned and smoothed at the factory like the good old days. The wood grip feels good in my hand but the fit of the grip on the gun is horrible. There is a 1/16" gap in the front of the grip. When I tried to squeeze the grip together like it should be, the grip br... Read more

First off let me say the gun is a real looker, the matte finish, wood grips and tapered lug really set this thing apart from other Model 60s. It's a very accurate little pistol too, two inch group in double action at 10 yards and the same can be achieved at 20 yards in single action. Surprised me how accurate the 3" barrel can be. The barrel, like a good number of new Smiths, is off by about a degree compared to the frame but does not affect anything other than the perfectionist in me (and … Read More

This is my first Smith & Wesson. And, it's probably the last. I bought this six months ago. Plenty of time to put it through the paces. it is light, easy to carry, and accurate. But that's about it. The matte finish isn't very durable. It bruises easily. And, after a dozen trips to the range, it starts to wear off from normal cleaning. I ended up with some areas that were gray, and others that had a luster. So, I bought extra fine steel wool, and Hoppe silicone cloth. I took all the gray off. … Read More

I really like this revolver. It is one of many Smith & Wesson's that I own, and they did a great job on this one. I like the 3" barrel and beautiful grips.

What I like the most about this S&W 60 Pro Series is the 3 inch barrel feels very balanced and the sights are very good as well. Firing 357 mag rounds is manageable since this J-frame is stainless steel and heavier then other J-frames that are made of aluminum alloy.

My wife ordered this to replace a Charter Arms Southpaw that was too "poppy" for her. We both love this gun! It's comfy (even with the wood handle...not a fan) to shoot it is surprisingly controllable with .357 mag for a 22oz gun. Order arrived quickly and the price was awesome!

I bought this little jewel in july 2019. It was love at first sight. Not knowing what to Expect, as an army aviator i carried a Much heavier S&W .357 to Vietnam in 1963. I left it over there with a fellow pilot. How i wish i’d had this one then. Even at 89 i can hit what and where i want on the range. Other than there, i only carry it for long, Solo road trip for the sometime’s DESOLATE pit stop. Nothing but pro’s on this one.

Finish is not attractive. Polished stainless would look better! Grips are ugly! It looks like a yuppie gun!

Retired Federal Law Enforcement Agent, I carry this gun, while hiking, shopping and driving, etc. While my holsters may very, the weight of the gun is light. But not too light for shooting. Will not beat up your hand while shooting full loads. My 127lb wife and her friends love shooting it, yes will full loads. Great all round gun for any one to own. I would recommend Revolvers over semi- auto guns for most people, it is just safer.

This has been my backpacking/trail gun for almost 10 years. Much more accurate and easier to aim than a snubnose (like the Lady Smith), and will take full load 158 gr. jhp's when in back country. Kind of a hand cannon with those loads, but the gun is accurate (I can easily shoot 4-5" groups at 25 feet, and I'm just a plinker). Shooting 38 spec. is a pleasure, and that's what my wife loads when she uses this as her home defense gun. Nice factory trigger, smooth solid gun. Got a Simply Rugged

Good handling revolver. Had to put rubber grips on it though because of the kick with .357's. Points well and the night sight is a real advantage.

Very reliable and nice revolver I like the feel of the revolver and the way it performs also it's only a 5 round cylinder which is still nice in my opinion also its accuracy is amazing and its shoots both .357 magnum and .38 special .38+p and .38 PLUS P+ JUST a great revolver in general.

Shoots as good as it looks. Changed the grips to a Hogue which helps absorb the recoil sting. Easy to carry if you prefer a revolver.

Awesome revolver. Finding it at a time like this when supplies are so low was amazing. Probably one of the best revolvers I’ve owned. Great S&W quality.

I checked CA pistol list, there is a "60-15 Pro Series SKU 178013A" in that list. Is this gun that one ? It is A model or B model ?
