1 year agoI have tried a number of factory loads and this has been the most accurate. My rifle has a 1 in 10 twist that works well with 75 gr bullets. That's about as heavy you can go with that barrel twist. Any heavier would require a faster twist to maintain accuracy.

1 year agoMy 243 is an old Ruger tang safety M77 with a varmint barrel. This Hornady superformance ammo is good stuff. Although my rifle shoots the 58 grain slightly better at 100 yards, this 75 grain load is more accurate beyond 250 yards. Like most everything else these days wish it was cheaper to buy.

1 year agoHornady seems to shoot good in all my rifles, Unfortunately the box I recieved looked like the ammo had been wet or stored in a very humid place for a long time. Box was perfect , ammo casings very discoloured and gritty, shot great but could feel it traveling into chamber, e-mailed customer service and explained, they wanted a pic, I just wanted it replaced ,not my money back, just kept it and hope it does not scratch chamber of super match barrel. Disappointed in this. Great company but will not buy ammo again.

1 year agoI would recommend the 75 grain Varmit 243 Winchester bullets, from what I've seen so far they are very consistent at 100 yards.
