1 year agoVery happy with this purchase - its a great starter O/U shotgun. Has a good quality feel to it, handles well, and shoots accurately. Since its a touch lighter than some of its comparisons (Stoeger) it has a bit of a kick when using 1300+ shells but no problems with anything ~1200 or under. Using it mainly to shoot Trap and Skeet and have been pleased with its performance.

1 year agoWas looking for a good second shotgun for upland bird and waterfowl that wouldn’t break the bank, and that was well made. After looking at the reviews and some YouTube videos I chose the Stevens O/U and I’m not disappointed in the least. Nice looking, well made and a great shooting gun. When I got it, I patterned it and was happy with the results. Put two boxes of target loads through it shooting some clays and very happy with my decision. Great deal at Sportsman’s warehouse didn’t hurt either.

1 year agoBeautiful gun. I like the light weight. Only negative is the extractor doesn't lift empties out far enough. This gun is made in Turkey. I have a Mossberg over and under that was made in Turkey. It would occasionally not fire ( 1 out of 50 at the trap range) and occasionally fire both barrels at the same time (that hurts). The safety did not have a positive feel. Hopefully this Stevens will do better.

1 year agoGreat gun for the price. If your going to buy one, spend the extra money and get the 555E with the ejectors rather than just the extractors. I have a couple of these and both are good but the "E" is more enjoyable to use.
