Federal Gold Medal .223 Rem 69-Grain 20-Rounds BTHP

This Federal Match ammo is both great and frustrating at the same time. I have shot 100 yard groups of .375 MOA out of my Sako A7 Varmint using a Leupold VX-3i 8-25x50 scope. Unfortunately this is not a consistent grouping with this ammo. Most of the time, due to variable powder charges, the ammo will still shoot sub-MOA but usually twice the MOA stated. I've been shooting from a bench to 100 200 and 250 yards and this is my favorite ammo by far. Very tight groups and most of my rifles like it.

This ammo shoots extremely well in my rifle (1:8 twist); about .6 MOA. However, I've only shot it out to 200 yards. It looks like it will hold it's group size beyond.

This ammo is rated to work perfectly with my Athlon Argos BTR Gen II optic and I will testify that it absolutely does. I shoot competitively and have hit targets ranging from 200 - 600 yds with confidence. I have shot other brands and weight and this is my go-to ammo when the shots need to count

I consistently shoot sub-MOA groups with this ammo. At 100 yards I can frequently get 3 shot groups with interconnecting holes. I got one 10 shot group @ 50 yards with a max. spread of 7/16". I'm shooting an R-guns upper with a 24" NM barrel 6-24x50 FFP Bushnell scope self built lower with a Timney trigger and MagPul adjustable stock.
