Winchester Double X Turkey 12ga 3" 1-3/4oz #5 Copper Plated, 10 Shotshells – STH1235

Bought 2 boxes of this ammo because winchester chose to stop producing the #5 with 2oz.shot. these "new" shots helps suck. They pattern poorly and 12" to the left. Please bring bring back the old. They produced a dense pattern and were dead on.

Picked up a Box of this stuff and a box of Double X after reading reviews on both. The Double X simply would not produce a useable pattern out of any shotgun we fired it from with any choke set up. After reading a bit, found out that Winchester actually recommends that the Double X be used with Imp Cyl or Mod Cyl chokes. The Supreme stuff shot the best pattern I have ever seen at 30 yards from two different shotguns. Also, according to the other reviews, this stuff will definitely not fail you

Great turkey loads! The price is right and they hit the birds hard. Not too much more you can ask for. Winchester has been doing this for a long time and it shows.

If you dont want to spend a bunch of money, but want that great pattern... buy these shells! Make sure they are the Double X High Velocity Black shells. Even with only 1 3/4 oz of shot... they pattern great and have awesome knockdown power. Using 12 ga 3in #6 in my Browning BPS with a .665 Indian Creek choke, I'm getting 175 to 210 pellets in a 10 in circle at 40 yards. My last 5 birds met their maker with this set up. Btw... the lead is copper plated.

The load patterns better then any load I have shot in the last 30 years! Have the price of heavie shot and is as tight! Due to the mountain country I live in I seldom shoot a turkey closer then 20 yds, which makes this a great load for me!
