This is great ammo for target shooting. I have shoot over 100 rounds with two different 870 Express in 20 gauge with no trouble. Using my Do-All Full Cock Clayhawk Trap. I would not use them for hunting. I work to hard for a shot at game to use any 20 gauge shell with less than 1 oz. of shoot. You can have a lot of fun for a little money with these shells.

These are some of the best shells I have ever used. I use them in a Remington 870 20 gauge and a Rossi crack barrel 20 gauge and they have never failed in hunting rabbits and squirrels. Just great ammo for a great price.

It's great to find shells to fit the older firearms that are still in use. It allows me to use the gun that my grandfather owned and hunted with.

I used these this year and shot a squirrel at 30 yards and it didn't destroy it but I think the hi brass shells cant replace these for shooting threw cover. the 12 gauge in number 6 only a few hit it like only 5.

You can't go wrong with these or Remington for early season doves and wild quail or pen-raised quail in 8 or 9 shot.

I have used these Federal 16 gauge, 2-3/4", 1-1/8 oz. #4 shells for my annual pheasant hunt for the last 3 years, I have dropped every bird I've shot at inside 40 yards with one shot. I've been every impressed with the tight pattern at distance, it's GREAT. I've hunted pheasants for well over 50 years and in all truth I've never used better shells, PERIOD!

Great that cabelas stocks a 16 gauge shotgun shell works great in my antique ithaca. only wish they would carry different shot sizes other than 7.5 and number 6. A number 4 or 5 shot would be fantastic!

Usually buy Winchester or Remington but trying Federal due to COVID pandemic shortages. So far-so good. No issues with performance.

Outstanding ammo! It is great for pheasants but is worth nothing if you don't train. Get out there and train.

I bought a case (H121-6) of these to use on a Tower Shoot at a Pheasant farm for my boys and me. Ithaca 37 and 2 Rem 870s. They meet the requirements for the farm. #6 or smaller, 2 3/4, short brass, 12 G or smaller. The don't eject properly, they are too high pressure for the brass. Brass expands into the extractor recess, pushing the extractors out and creating a ramp for the extractor to slide over what should be the rim. See pictures! After birds just flying past our stations and having to take barrels off in the field, they held up for us. The day was only saved because a friend who had a few extra boxes of Winchester white box # 7 1/2. White box was aluminum, no sign of extractor port expansion those. We didn't have a single issue with the Winchester ammo. My friend that traded for white boxes has a Browning over and under, much different extractors, normally his gun pops them out, he said he had a few that were "sticky" but he liked having #6.

I ordered these for my wife. She loves to shoot trap and I thought these would be perfect for that. If she likes them, no doubt I will be ordering more.

I have used many products of game load and I prefer Federal. I use a Mossberg 500 and Federal is one of the few that hasn't jammed while engaging. Its the one I keep going back to after trying others.
