CCI Centerfire Pistol Shotshell Ammo – 9mm

About these two months ago put them in my revolver and seen a snake in my yard and it blowed his head off.

We love living in the country near the river and with a pond in the backyard. The only real downside is the occasional unwanted visitor that slithers up on the porch. Yes a sharp hoe would work but, we don't really like getting that close. We keep this ammo in an old 38 handy for a cottonmouth or copperhead. I really like the extra punch over 22lr rat shot.

You can’t go wrong with CCI rimfire ammo. It fires every time when needed. Their 22 birdshot gets the job done. It easily took care of the rodent problem we “were” having.

These are powerful and dependable personal defense rounds. They work in multiple automatic weapons I have tried. Most often used in a Ruger LCP without any problems.

I purchased this 22 birdshot for varmint control out of my rifle mounted with a scope. I zeroed the rifle and shot a number of rounds at the range with various ammo, bird shot and regular 22 ammo. When I went to use this in a varmint situation in the backyard it was like I was shooting blanks. No hits whatsoever from 30 yards all the way in to 10 yards. I would not recommend this ammo. The only reason I gave this ammo 2 stars instead 1 is that maybe there is some user error on my part and I typically have good success with CCI 22 ammo.

Bought these to shoot rats off a tractor while bush hogging sunflowers, they have work better than I expected,I use the 22 mag. Out of a cheap 6 shooter

These are great pest control around especially at 10 to 15 yards after that they appear to lose a little effectiveness.

I am so glad I purchased these, I use it for rodent control in my barn and they are deadly with no damage to walls or roof.

CCI .38 spl. shotshells let you keep a safe distance from copperheads. They tend to defoliate the lawn under the critter!

My TX22 shoots everything without a hitch, until I tried shooting a few of these. Took 3 to the range my last trip. First one was a light strike. Second one broke open while chambering. Took the slide off and got all the shot out of it. Third one shot fine, but then the gun jammed. Had to dig the casing out with a screwdriver. I don't know if I'll bother shooting the rest. This hasn't been a good start to things

38 shotshell (Snake Shot) is hard to find these days, like so much else. Glad I could find some so I dont have to carry those hand cannons that shoot 410/45. My dog and I walk a lot and spend time around some ponds in our area. This is just what I need for my 38 snub nose.

I had the old design before buying this new design and the performance is still the same if not better. On the old design the blue shot capsule would come come forward and cause the cylinder on the revolver to not rotate possibly causing a dangerous situation. But the new design is crimped, this eliminating the cylinder lock up issue so I believe this product to be great. I've used it twice so far for aggressive and venomous snakes on a slippery creek bank with no way to easily remove myself from the situation and the rounds have performed perfectly. Will definitely buy again.

These shot shells work ok in my S&W 9 mm Shield but not in my S&W 9mm Sigma! The Shield apparently has a stronger firing pin when looking at the spent casing..

These shotshells can sometimes be hard to find. BPS web site made it easy to order. Delivery was prompt.

I highly recommend this product. There are a lot of pests at our family ranch so this ammo comes in handy.

Bought these to get rid of a snake, and they work! Not all the rounds ejected correctly but the rounds do their job!
