Browning X-Bolt Hell’s Canyon Speed Suppressor-Ready Bolt-Action Rifle – .300 Winchester Magnum

I really like the light weight stock and 24” barrel. Was very pleasantly surprised by the lack of recoil for such a light weight gun. The recoil hawg muzzle break really tames the 6.8.

Well made, provides a comfortable shooting position. Still working on sighting it in with the correct load.

After going back and forth between calibers and rifle brands I decided to go with this Browning X-Bolt in a .300 win mag! Aesthetically it was one of the best looking rifles on the shelf at my local Bass Pro. At the range this rifle can perform! The Recoil Hawg works wonders, Browining is not lying when they say it reduces up to 70% of the recoil. I paired mine with the Vortex Viper HST 6.5-24 and was easily hitting steel at ranges between 500-750 yards! Best hunting rifle I’ve owned.

Fit and finish are excellent! Typical Browning. Handling is superb. Adjustable Trigger is great - light and crisp. Pad is thick and soft. Threaded barrel size is the standard 5/8 x 24 for various attachments. Mounted a Leopold 5HD 2x10 power x 42 mm using Talley LOW mount / rings with a .25” clearance at the objective… very effective and lighter than most set-ups. Handy detachable 4 round mags. Very pleased this exclusive model is chambered in two of my favorites - 270 Win and 30.06! This buy was in the .270 Win. Modern ammo loads are tough to beat, all without magnum blast. Perfect for Arizona/Western states habitats. A Custom-like rifle at a fine production rifle price point. Love it.

Great looking gun! I love the weight and the camo pattern. I put a Leupold CDS scope on it and can’t wait to go to the range and sight it in properly. I also can’t wait for hunting season starts!

I bought the gun, ammo, rail, and a Vortex Venom scope from you guys. I just wish you guys carried the scope rings so that I had bought everything from one place. Other than that the customer service was excellent. I haven't had a chance to shoot gun yet because I just got the scope rings in the mail yesterday. I will update after shooting.

Love this thing unfortunately California made it a bit more difficult to get my hands on it but when i was finally able to take it home and throw a scope on I easily shot a box of 7mm rem mag and felt little to no recoil the recoil hawg and the stock do their job plus its light compared to my dads older Abolt in 7mm rem mag

Best Browning rifle I own yet. The bolt action is superb. The threaded barrel was important for me. I have only tried it out to 100 yards. Very happy with the grouping and cheap target ammo works perfect.

Browning makes great rifles. 6.8 western is going to be the next 6.5 it does everything i need it to from deer to elk!

I bought this gun this fall of 2022. And ever since day one shooting it it can not hold a grouping more than 5in. Tried different ammo tried different scope. Absolutely pathetic. The gun itself looks and feels great but anything that comes out that barrel its going to be a guessing game on where it ends up. And it's not just me either 4 other people have shot this gun and it's the same all around. I am beyond disappointed in this purchase.

I ordered a rifle online November 13th and had it shy to the Tualatin OR store. Here it is November 30th and I still haven’t heard anything from them. I will never do business with Cabela’s again.

I purchased a new rifle on 11-13-22 and as of 12-14-22 I still haven’t gotten a email telling to come pick it up. Cabela’s is becoming a joke to shop at.

I purchased the 6.5 hells canyon speed sr a week ago. Mounted a leopould 3x9-50 with Talley rings. Bore sighted it and shot 2 rounds at 100 yards and hit the bulls eye. Shot 2 more and had a 3/4 inch group. This was not a bnch rest test. Shot off a pourch rail. I have 2 of these and they are great.

Most accurate riffle I've ever owned. Paired with the Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24X50 FFP, it took all of about 10 minutes to zero in at 100 yards. Thank you Cabelas!

Don’t hate the trigger. I just love everything else. If accu trigger could Mary the x bolt they would be royalty.
