Bought this bad boy a few weeks ago and have had a few opportunities now to get out to play. Getting it on sale was like have Christmas come early, great gun at a great price range. No regrets here!!!

Went to to local bass pro to go buy a tikka t3 stainless steel and came home with a browning ab3 30-06 instead. Tikka t3 stainless steel was 950 dollars but the ab3 was 799 with leupold scope and rings. Pretty good deal considering you get quality gun, scope and rings all bore sighted ready to go. Gun is light but sturdy. Well made budget rifle. Had it sighted in after 5 shots. I'm not a good shooter but still was able to get 1 to 1.5 inch group at 100 yards off basic bench rest with hornady whitetail 150grain. I'm sure this gun shoots much better than I can. Would like to experiment with other bullets but 30-06 bullets are hard to find these days. Recoil pad is good, bolt not the smoothest but a little oil and it slides like butter. Magazine was plastic but pops into gun very well. Trigger is plastic but it is crisp with no creep. Trigger a little heavy out of box but tolerable. Leupold scope is fantastic like all of leupold products, plus it's one of the very very few scopes still made in USA. Stock is solid for a synthetic. Gun fits well to shoulder. Cycles round reliably with no hang ups. The tikka t3 was a nicer gun like others in the store but if your someone looking for solid hunting rifle that shoots good without blowing all your hard earned money, this is the gun for you. Shout out to staff at Bossier Bass Pro for help in choosing right gun. Knowledgful friendly staff there.

Shoots pretty darned accurate right out of the box. Seems to be much more of a quality gun than my last deer rifle (of another maker).

Firearm works very well, though it was factory bore sighted I still needed to do a bit of adjusting after sighting in but it looks great, feels great and shoots well. Very happy with my purchase for the dollar I spent, great value!

I bought this say set up about a year ago for my 15 yr old son. After zeroing the scope and getting the feel of it I took him on his first hunt. At 65 yards my son harvest his first buck, dropped him in his tracks. This is a great weapon for hunters of all age. Lightweight easy to carry and handle. Accuracy and precision is spot on. Well made tool highly recommend.

Great rifle and scope . Good value . I was looking for a rifle for Elk hunting and with ammunition that is readily available . This rifle in 308 win checked all the boxes for me .

Shot straight right out of the box. Like holes touching on the first 4 shots - but my son and I both complained that at higher focus (6x to 9x) the target was a little blurry compared to our other leupold scopes.
On top of that it got very hot after a dozen rounds and started straying. Cool barrel is dead on - so I’m happy with it. Really very good for NY hunting - but for shooting more than a few rounds - it seemed to suffer.
And the blur? Maybe that increased with the heat. That barrel will burn you if you don’t give it a rest.

Bought this rifle during the Thanksgiving 2021 sale at Cabela's in Billings. Sales staff were good. The bolt action was a little rough, so I put a few drops of oil on it and that helped smooth the slide out. Took it to the range with a box of Norma Tactical 150g. Rifle with Leopold scope was factory bore sighted in decently at 100 yards. Does get hot after a few shots, but all do, so let it rest between shots for better accuracy. Wanted something decent for range shooting and hunting. This'll do

I haven’t had an opportunity to shoot this rifle yet but I have several other Brownings and am very pleased with them. I’m pleased that it has a Leupold scope because that’s the only optics that I use.

Took the rifle to the range and shot very well. The bolt cycles very smooth and easy. The stock pad reduces, to a great degree, the shock when firing the weapon.

I only gave 4 because I usually dont give 5 and have not shot it yet. How ever it seems to be everything that I thought that it would be. also Leopold does not include scope lens covers and they are expesive I paid 140 for the set.

Bought this rifle in October and bore sighted the scope. Did not fire the first time until January and it was on point. Recoil on rifle is great for a 30-06 caliber. I wouldn't be afraid to let a 12-year-old shoot it. Bolt and action are smooth. I really enjoy it. Browning has done a great job on this gun. Leupold scope works great in low light. Pulls in every bit of the daylight left. Overall, the gun/ scope combo is great.

Grouping is decent. I'm not the best shot so getting groups within 2 or 3 inches is good. The rifle seems pretty accurate, however. I was able to get it zero'd in with three shots so it did come out of the box almost sighted in. My buddy bought the same gun and he bulls eyed his first shot, right out of the box. This is the first Browning I've owned, so I'm feeling like this will be my go to gun for a variety of hunts. Pairing it with a Leupold scope sealed the deal for me.

I purchased this gun in a 7mm rem mag. I wanted a calibre that I could use for deer, moose, and elk. Im a very tall guy and I absolutely love the feel of this gun with the 26” barrel. The gun is very accurate and seems to be very well made and the synthetic stock was just great for the northern Alberta fall weather.
I wanted the 7mm for a little more distance on elk and I was not disappointed on my first day out.
I looked at the American ruger and the Tikka T3 and neither of those guns felt so comfortable as the AB3.
All in all I am very satisfied with this riffle and look forward to feeding my family for years to come.
