Caliber: .22 LR
Barrel Length: 18.25"

This is a great rifle with a very smooth action, excellent reliability, and has no problem cycling a variety of .22 cartridges. The magazine capacity is quite nice, holding 12 .22 LR, and easily reloadable. It is a good idea to also get a bore snake or pull-through cleaning kit to make cleaning this rifle easier.

Took this out shooting and it was smooth, accurate and didn't jam once. The only thing is the length of pull is a little long for me. 14 inches I believe. Otherwise, it's a great lil gun.

Quality firearm at a reasonable price! Will more than likely purchase another Henry Rile in the future.

My h001 has had 1000 rounds through it and im having a blast. No jam I have experienced. I shoot this gun alot and I'm already at 70 yards with open sights hitting steal 6x6 targets with factory sights. I will say sites are a bit crappy, but I have a fiber optic one coming which will help. It's not a sniper 22 but def good for target shooting. All my firearms stay very clean and I do a quick wipe after each use. I'm only giving it a four because of the sights. But other than that I love it! I'm working on my 4th henry soon.

Beautiful classic rifle. I used it with my 10 yr old son. It's great for planking and family time. Great quality. We really enjoyed our time in range with our steel targets. Henry rifles did a great job with this gun, the American walnut stock is really beautiful and something to look forward to own. I love this rifle and definitely recommend it for new shooters and their little ones.

Painted metal not blued is kinda disappointing. Nice and smooth action. Will enjoy for years to come.

Awesome gun that was purchased for my 12 year old son to learn to shoot. One of the best made rifles I have ever shot. I would purchase again 1000 times over.

I bought this rifle about 6 months ago and put around 300 rounds through it and it has ran flawlessly without any issue. Light, precise and the action is super smooth to operate. Add a little 2-7 scope and it become a super fun little plinker

This is the third Henry Classic Lever-Action .22 rifle I've purchased. It goes without saying that I love these rifles. I enjoy shooting mine so much that sharing it with my wife, our son and his wife was getting old! I decided to begin expanding my collection so everyone could shoot. I hope to one day teach my 2 grandsons to shoot using a Henry rifle. The craftsmanship, beauty and functionality of these rifles is a testament to the folks at Henry. I am proud to own these American made rifles!

Amazing rifle! Affordable and accurate. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a solid gun to practice with. Beats shooting the 45-70 and spending an arm and a leg each time.

I had to write a review on this one. First impression out of the box, its SMALL. I mean this gun looks small in the hands of a 12 year old kid, in the hands of an adult its downright tiny. That aside, its SOLID. I was surprised by how heavy and solid it is for being so tiny. Excellent build, nearly flawless design. Cycles any ammo perfectly and its very accurate. Only two drawbacks is the fact the metal is painted and NOT blued, despite henry's website saying its blued, it IS painted. Second drawback is the front sight is a rather thick and blunt rectangle. This makes it impossible for pinpoint shooting, the thick blade basically blocks out wherever you aim at and you are aiming basically in its general direction, but despite that its still very accurate. It has a dovetail rail for a sight if you wish to overcome this. I personally filled the front blade down to make it thinner and pointed, solved the issue for me. All in all i would give a 4.5 out of 5, its a very fun gun to shoot! One other thing worth mentioning is the barrel gets HOT. Much hotter than any of my other .22LR rifles, Semi-Auto or otherwise. After 3 tubes (45 rounds) the barrel is seriously hot and it needs a 15 min break to cool down. I believe this is because its such a thick barrel it just holds the heat. I would not call it a drawback because its helping to limit how fast I'm going through ammo, which is not cheap these days.

Been to the range a half dozen times and not disappointed. Tried all brands of ammo, no jams or misfires. Nice quality rifle.

I ordered this rifle on the 12th and when the store I was having it delivered to received it the stock was broken. The rifle was no longer in stack so, I couldn't order a replacement. The Columbus store manger called around and found me a rifle and had them hold it in Texas. He issued me a refund and I called the Texas store right after hearing the speakerphone conversation with the store gun library manager, they then said they couldn't sell me the gun as it was damaged as well. So not I am trying to check stock daily to see if they are available anymore. Seems like Henry is only letting defective guns from their warehouse.

Beautiful rifle and superb fit and finish. The lever action is as smooth as butter on this rifle. It may only be a 22LR but it’s the highest quality 22 I own (have 10+)

As a young child (4) I began tromping through the South Georgia woods every Wednesday afternoon with my father, maternal grandfather, and paternal great-grandfather. Usually, it was a fishing trip, but sometimes we went hunting as well. I fished a bit, but I never fired a weapon. Fast forward to two years ago when the Bass Pro Shop in Destin, FL had a visit from "Shoot Like a Girl". Our little granddaughter had the lead in "Annie" at a local children's theater just a short distance from Bass Pro. Since our daughter-in-law had an interest in guns, she asked if we could go to "Shoot Like a Girl". I said "sure"......so we went. Never having shot a weapon in my life I decided to give it a try. The young lady who was assisting me let me try a bow and a pistol, neither of which I could use due to arthritis in my 72-year-old hands. Next we moved on to rifles. After the first shot my helper said you need to close your left eye.....and I told her I could not. With a questioning look she asked, "Why not???" I told her that quite honestly I had never been able to close my left eye without closing the right one as well which is not a good thing when you're firing a weapon. After observing me demonstrate my lack of eye coordination she got me a patch for my left eye. My score, even with the first shot having been less than perfect, ended up being 97.6% accuracy. Not bad for ":Granny Oakley", huh? Two weeks ago my husband, a Vietnam veteran, went with me to purchase a Henry lever action 22. In mid July we will be heading to my husband's cousin's farm in Alabama for target practice. There will be 7 of us...my husband and me; our son and daughter-in-law; our daughter and son-in-law; and our 11-year-old granddaughter. She WILL NOT be 74 when she has her first target practice. The staff at Bass Pro could not possibly have been nicer or more fun to work with in my selection. I don't know if I'm their oldest ever customer, but I'm surely one who will never forget how kind and helpful they were.

For the price this has been a wonderful gun. The action is smooth, and I haven’t had any jamming problems. My son and I have a blast shooting offhand at 8” gongs at 30 yards. The sights are easy to use for this type of shooting.
