I am very happy with this purchase and so is my boy who is learning to shoot. It is well built and shoots just as good. We have had a couple of malfunctions with the striker not resetting on the 8-10th round. But, I call that good practice and learning for my son. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and it is a joy to shoot.

It took some time to get here but it finally arrived. It shoots okay but the trigger is not the best. Overall the rifle is a great plinker but don't expect it to shoot really good groups.

I purchased this rifle 2 months ago and so far it's worked pretty reliable However the construction built of it is pretty cheap. The plastic feel Feels flimsy Not like the plastic feel that you get from polymer guns this feels different it does feel flimsy. I would suggest anybody looking for this rifle save some extra money and purchase a Ruger 10/22 or a Thompson Center TCR 22. To be fair to this rifle it is very reliable in the two months that I had it I have not had any misfires And I have to put around 500 rounds through it.

So far it's been a reliable rifle. It heavily uses polymer so it will be interesting to see the longevity. I like that I can use Ruger 10/22 magazines.

Good plinking rifle. Super light and easy to operate. The trigger could use some work on it since it has a lot creep and it doesn't appear that it can be adjusted.

I bought this gun so I could have a little fun without spending too much on ammo. I love it. Put a little red dot on it and it's super accurate. My buddy's little one shoots it like a pro. Fits the ruger extended mag as well so that's a big plus.

Plastic clip holder broke after 2nd use. There are two tiny post that hold a spring in place. One of the post broke off after only the 2nd use.

Had fun first time using this. Only had a failure to feed first round then smooth sailing with 500 rounds of Wildcat ammo 40gr. Only issue I had was the cover for the bottom pic rail broke easily.

Had fun shooting this little rifle. Used a few brands of ammo, only ammo I had problem was the Remington Golden Bullet HP. Aguila, Federal, Winchester Wildcat/SuperX, CCI Standard all 40gr.

The last round bolt hold open feature was installed 180 degrees upside down.
I could not load more than one round in the oem magazine. I called Winchester support and they were willing to replace the defective magazine. They said they would send a video if I wanted to try and fix it myself. That never happened.
THANK YOU U-tube videos! The pictures confirmed what I thought was wrong.
All is well now and I am able to enjoy my new purchase.

It took forever to find one of these. I call it the 10 cent rifle. It's not pretty or fancy but it is very functional and easy to maintain. Just what I was after.

DO NOT BUY!!! The ceramic coating is not a ceramic coating it is paint took out of the box and was pulling the stickers off the barrel it pulled the paint off the barrel and there’s chip marks all over this is not a true ceramic coating it is cheap paint to make it look like it is ceramic coating. Haven’t even got to shoot it and had to send it back in for repair. Very unsatisfied customer will not buy another fake ceramic coating barrel gun from Winchester. Winchester y’all have ruined your reputation. With this for me

Got one of these on sale with the scope and case. Honestly the best gun to start with.
Light weight, stupid easy to clean, durable polymer stock.

Acquired this gun a few months ago and although I have only put a 100 or so rounds threw it I am very happy with it. A few stovepipes with the first mag threw but without any problems afterwards. With the scope its a fun and surprisingly accurate piece.

Had the rifle for some time now
I can’t remember it jamming at all with all kinds of ammo, over a thousand rounds through. Love the peep sights, and it’s easy to mount optics on the top rail that allow you to still use the peep sights underneath.
Best thing I LOVE is how easy it is To disassemble and clean. Did I mention you can dry fire it?
Only con is the plastic sights that you can’t replace as there is none available online. Broke a bit off the front post on mine but the rifle still shoots fine plus I have the optics on.

I was really excited to try out my new fun plinker until it arrived. My first impression was, I can’t believe how much of this gun is
plastic. I tried to remove the cover for the sling hole on the stock and the cover instantly broke in half. I then installed a red dot on the top rail and realized that the front iron sight was in the way. I got the correct torx bit to remove it as soon as I tried to loosen it the bolt sheered off in the barrel. After seeing the terrible build quality of this gun I didn’t want it any more. I contacted Cabelas who won’t do a refund on guns and put me through to Winchester for warranty. Winchester won’t do a refund because I didn’t buy it from them but they will pay to fix it. Now I’ll be who knows how long without my brand new rifle that I haven’t used, until it is repaired and returned. I’m totally unimpressed with Cabelas for not letting me return it and Winchester for making such a disposable firearm.

Purchased during the weekday, finally got a chance to use it on the weekend. Added a scope to it & once it was sighted in, it did pretty well function wise. Of course I stripped, cleaned and lubed the gun 1st. Had a little shooting match with my kid and her gun out to 100 yards on steel. I did one mag dump with no issue. In the first 10 rounds I did have one stove pipe but that was it. After it worked flawless. For the price point on a mostly synthetic gun, it's pretty good. Bought a 2nd winchester wildcat mag with it. My main sell point on this gun is the ease of take down and cleaning. The right ammo and it shot pretty darn well at 50 yards, opened a little more at 100 but still hitting a 6 inch target

There are sharp edges in the rear-most area of the stock adjacent buttpad that are capable of causing minor cuts should you pick the rifle up in that area. Other than needing a minor de-burring in that area, the rifle is put together very well. I was impressed by how spotless the inside of the receiver was and how clean the bore was. A clean patch came out spotless when pushed thru. I was impressed by the quality and cleanliness, other than the sharp plastic in the buttstock.

It’s great for plinking. Put a vortex 2-7x32 rim fire scope on it and a Caldwell bipod mounted to the front rail. My only concern is there is only one mag. The ad said it’s compatible with all Ruger 10/22 mags but the 25 round BX mags seem to not seat properly and it’s hit or miss whether it cycles or not. I wish Winchester would make their own extended mags for this. If that were the case I would’ve given it 5 stars.
