The TriStar Viper Series Semi Automatic Gas Operated Shotguns are reliable, functional and hard working. Both wood and synthetic models have 3 inches gas operated, semi-automatic shotguns that allow you to shoot light target loads to heavy waterfowl loads interchangeably. Removable choke system uses Beretta/Benell Mobil Threads, includes three choke tubes (IC, M, F), choke box, and wrench. Cerakote receiver, high-grade Turkish walnut with cut checkering and semi-gloss finish. Rubber Recoil pad, Fiber optic sight and shim kits standard, backed by a 5 years warranty.

- Action – gas operated semi-automatic, bolt remains open after last round is fired, if magazine and chamber are both loaded, opening action will result in ejecting shell from chamber and cycling new shell from magazine into the chamber
- Action – if operator desires to unload chamber only, slightly push lifter up and open action, this cuts the magazine off from cycling new shell while unloading the chamber, chamber will remain closed if shells still remain in magazine however
- Safety – the primary safety is located on the backside of the trigger guard, when engaged, the safety is designed to block the trigger, hammer lever and the hammer which makes the firing mechanism immobile
- Magazine – tubular magazine, bottom loading, shot plug included and comes installed, shot plug easily removable by unscrewing the magazine cap, simply pull plug out and replace magazine cap

1 year agoThis was my first semi-auto shotgun although I have shot friends Binelli shotguns before. I must say, BUY ONE!! My Tristar G2 is absolutely as nice a shotgun as the big brands at 1/3 the price!! The G2 is everything I wanted in a shotgun. I followed the Tristar directions for breaking in the gun and ran a box of buckshot at 1325fps. I then ran turkey loads and light grouse loads through it and if cycled every round flawlessly! 1 year agoIt can’t be beat for the money. The fit and finish out of the box was great. I installed a Holosun optic on mine. The supplied turkey choke does a great job with #9 TSS. I did try some old #6 I had and it didn’t like them as much. I’d recommend this gun to anyone. I bought the 12g but I’ll be buying the 410 soon for my son

1 year agoTRISTAR MAKES A VERY SOLID SHOTGUN, AFTER BREAKING IT IN, SHOOTS LIKE A DREAM. SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT SOONER. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE.
