Beretta’s A400 Xtreme Plus KO Shotgun features Beretta’s exclusive Steelium Plus barrels. The use of Steelium Plus barrels is a first for hunting shotguns. Therefor, providing the The A400 Xtreme Plus Shotgun with the best patterning possible from all hunting loads, along with further felt recoil mitigation. The new A400 Xtreme Plus barrel also features a step rib with an integral mid-bead and fiber optic front bead in order to ensure the proper fit and sight picture for all conditions. Further enhancing the A400 Xtreme Plus, the addition of an extended charging handle and bolt release from the factory to allow for easier manipulation during the coldest and rainiest days. The A400 Xtreme Plus also has an enlarged loading port to allow for easier loading in adverse conditions.
New for 2018: The A400 Xtreme Plus stock now feature a soft comb, which further reduces the felt recoil imparted to the shooter’s cheek.

1 year agoI love it. Very soft shooting, lightweight compared to my other shotguns. I shot 2 3/4” 7.5 shot through it with no issues, it cycles 3” and 3 1/2” magnums with no problem.

1 year agoBest waterfowl shotgun you can buy. Shot the A391 Extrema 2 for a decade, without issue. Just felt it was time for an upgrade and very impressed with the performance and feel of the new one.

1 year agoOne of the best all around gun's you can buy today it will cycle anything from 7/8 to 2.5 oz. LOADS. Very little recoil easy on the shoulder.

1 year agoGreat gun. My only complaint is quality. The gun was missing the stock lock washer and the mid bead wasn't tight and almost fell out. I'm hoping those are the only issues. The feel is a little bulky but once you shoulder it the bulky feeling goes away. Would rate it a 5 if not for the quality issues.

1 year agoUsed to have a SBE3 and I sold it and bought this. Best purchase I’ve made. I like it way better than my SBE. More reliable and fits me better.

1 year agoI’ve owned over a dozen shotguns, currently have 3 autos 20g, 12g, and 10g. Beretta QC is by far the best. If you thinking about a SB3 don’t buy one, they suck. Ran one for two season, they shoot high and the QC is garage. Buy a Beretta you won’t be disappointed.
