After reading a number of negative reviews about Grab a Gun and their poor service I was reluctant to place an order with them. I thought though I would try it and pray for the best. These Hornady .22 WMR rounds are very accurate in my Kel Tec CMR 30 even out to 100 yards. GrabAGun’s sale on these rounds plus their very reasonable flat rate for shipping made for a great deal.

Clocked at 1545 fps instead of the advertised 1700 fps. Expands well but penetration suffers compared to standard 40 grain HP CCI and Winchesters.

Really great ammo at a fair price. Customer needs to buy in bulk to minimize impact of shipping cost. Functions in PMR-30 pistol without problems.

I bought from Grabagun for the price. I bought the ammo from research. Both turned out great. Timely delivery from these good folks, and the ammo worked very good in my pmr30 (no stovepipes as with lighter bullet weights).

Critical defense has run reliably in my semi-autos (Kel-tec pmr30 and Rock ISland XT22M) and my revolvers (NAA Sidewinder and S&W 351c).

Received a package of 50 rounds.One of 15 I've shot didn't fire. I shot a Heritage Barkeep 22WMR.It looks like a rim diameter smaller than it should be actually.

This is the only .22MWR ammunition that's accurate enough for me in my Ruger Single Six. The heavy, slow bullet hits point of aim at 15 yards, exactly the same as .22 LR standard velocity with the other cylinder. Satisfying magnum recoil yet lack of flash.

Got these for a mini-revolver instead of regular hollow-points, ballistic tips, or ball ammo that I've used in the past. Since it's for a last-resort gun, might as well have as much defensive engineering as possible.

The Hornady Critical Defense is accurate, reliable and does not keyhole in my S&W 351pd. Ballistic gel tests show good penetration and some expansion which makes it about as good as it gets for a sub-caliber. Not my first choice for self defense, but it beats a sharp stick.

Purchased a Magnum Research MLR1722M in .22mag last year. Since reloading is not an option with rimfire I tried many different manufacturers bullet weights etc.. The manufacturers brochure states all the testing done in factory was with CCI 22wmr 40gr rounds and recommends it as reliable and accurate. I had an older 3x9 Redfield Tracker scope in the drawer so I mounted it for optics. Of course I first used manufacturers suggestion the CCI 40gr with jut ok results bench rest 3 shot group

High quality rounds. none have failed to fire. use it in hand gun primarily but shoot some in a long gun.

Bought for home defense. Maybe only a .22, but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end. The noise itself should be a good deterent.
