Just like every other firearm there is "plinking ammo" and there is "hunting ammo". This ammo, fired through a Remington 541-S, with a Nikon BDC rimfire optic, took a coon at 174yds. Bullet was a perfect little mushroom. Shot these through a chrony, and did the calculations for the BDC and it's amazingly accurate and consistent. Several years ago I got a couple boxes of Velocitors and zeroed them in my late Dad's pre-Model 60 Marlin. As my son and I were putting up a ladder stand above the creek that runs through our property we heard some brush popping and saw a small piebald whitetail doe running hard down the bank. These rounds are very powerful and accurate. They do a tremendous amount of damage and are my preferred carry round form .22LR

Perfect balance between hollow point early expansion for shock and deep penetration of solid points. Excellent on raccoons, and even larger feral dogs. Will take a small deer or small wild hog cleanly if good shot placement behind the ear is used. Very effective on prairie dogs and west texas rabbits if you can get close enough. First of all the ammo is very clean. The accuracy has been very good at 10 feet to 45 feet during my use. I have a Ruger 22/45 LR Lite and I have had no issues with this ammo. The overall quality of this ammo great. It is my favorite 22 LR ammo. It is Hollow Point and 40 grains so I could say it was a good defensive ammo, but it would not be my first choice compared to 9 mm or others. i use the velociter ammo only in all my .22s for over 6 years. it performs the best i have seen on anything from small game to predator.

Nothing else comes close... At least my custom 10/22 loves 'em. And, bragging rights, 180+yards, one shot raccoon and 'chuck kills are easy with CCI Velocitor's. Nothing else does that in this rifle.

This will actually shoot sub MOA @ 100 yards with a CMMG .22 LR AR15 conversion kit, provided you have a barrel without too much twist, and a quality barrel. Works very well in all my rifles and pistol, stingers are not supposed to be shot in a lot of 22 cal. weapons (read manual) so this is a great option for most 22’s.

My Marlin 60 rifle loves anything CCI. The Marlin 60 is Finicky, lots of jams. But no jams with CCI ammo, over 100 shots fired. I love my 60 again. My Ruger 22lpc lite rack also loves CCI.

Function flawlessly, no failure to fire, very accurate, excellent expansion, hit notedly harder than Mini Mags .

Unless you're stuck from purchasing from a local supplier, avoid these people like the plague. We purchased 2 pistols from them. The transaction went smooth but the final costs were more than if I had purchased them at retail from a local store. Worse, both jammed and contacting Palmetto is a waste of time since they don't respond. Stay AWAY!

In a charter arms AR-7, CCI is about the only ammo that will reliably feed and not foul up the action badly. This also applies to the Israeli mil-retro-extended pilot survival units that have the weld-on 3” barrel extension to meet the 16” conversion. A good cleaning, with light cleanzoil (wipe off excess) and CCI was the end of FTF issues.

My first experience with Velocitor. My Walther has been hit and miss with multiple bulk brands. It cycles CCI ok but not 100%. Other bulk brands perform poorly. These Velocitors are 100%! Comfortable having as a bedside gun for my wife with this load.
