Bought 1,000+ rounds (some bulk pack ('limited edition' issue) some 100 round packs). Wish I had read these reviews first - the one star ones are spot-on. Out of one box of 100, a 10% failure to fire rate (even with multiple strikes). Other failures include failure to feed into the chamber (a result of the bullets being loose and not being seated & crimped). This results in the casing being bent & crushed as it is being fed into the chamber. I started examining them very closely and find these loose bullets throughout. This is through a Ruger Mk IV that fires federal, CCI, blazer, remington, even bulk pack golden bullets pretty flawlessly with no issues. Very disappointed with this product, and I see the responses to the issues from other folks is a posting of a link...???!! Will never buy again and will also seriously have doubts about all Winchester ammo in future.

This is extremely frustrating when you busy several cases or this ammo. It’s supposed to be the best. Come to find out a year later that less than half of them actually fire. Thought it may have been my firing pin in my pistol. Put the same round in my revolver results were the same. Tried it in a lever action. Same results. Wish I would’ve know only about 1/3 of these fire and when they do it’s the saddest little pop so quite it sounds like a kids cap gun. I know Winchester is better than this. The super x is supposed to be the best.

Bought a 100 rd pack, thankfully that’s all I got. I have chickens and rabbits here, so when a possum, raccoon, or other smaller predator comes around, I do my best to protect my animals. Figured I try these so that I’d have some expansion when they impact and not right through like the target loads. I was extremely upset with these when I went to fire at a raccoon that had gotten at our barn cats and it clicked. Never fired, I cycled the round and it jammed up. I cleared the jam and went to fire again, the round didn’t seat right and failed to fire. I had to chase the it out of there. Went in the house and started to check the rounds. Thought it was the pro mag possibly, so grabbed the original magazine. Jammed and failed to cycle again. I put my federal target rounds in, that cycled flawlessly. I looked at these rounds and most of the bullets aren’t crimped tight. I will never buy these again. I will have to find some Federal for varmint. Extremely disappointed with these.

I have shot roughly 1,000 ground squirrels with this ammo in a Mossberg 144, some sod poodles, and a fox at a bit over 100 yds. Accuracy is good, better than many, but it is the lethality that keeps me shooting from a single lot of 5,000 bullets. No misfires that I can recall.

Over 2000 rounds through my ruger precision had maybe 2 rounds that did not fire I've been using this ammo for rat eradication for many years it is highly affective highly accurate out of my rifle I've had .75" groups @ 200yrds with no wind , lead expansion is perfect for small game , or Rodant removal I've taken down hogs with this ammo ( shot placement is obviously key). I really could not say anything bad or negative about this product except its getting hard to find . I promise this product will amaze you.

I went through two boxes and besides 10 plus malfunctions 2 rounds exploded inside the gun. I caught the last one on video which I’ll post soon.

I had 5 misfires with rims struck by the firing pin while attempting to shoot the hundred rounds of this .22 lr ammo through my clean Ruger mkii competition pistol. Not sure why. Other brand ammo no problem. Ammo seemed old. Purchased new within 6 months from major retailer.

I picked up a couple of boxes of this stuff and was very disappointed. I had several FTFs (Failed-to-Fire); as many as 1 out of every 3 rounds failed to fire. With my new S&W Victory, if a round doesn't go off, something is wrong with that round because the hammer on my Victory drives the firing pin deep into the rim. Still, I tried each one 4 times in 4 locations on the rim, then I tried my revolver and my 10-22 and still, nothing. Out of 100 rounds, 43 failed to fire the first time. Of the 43, 21 failed to fire after multiple attempts.

I have three Ruger .22s that love Winchester power point ammo. I ran test groups with all three using all brands I could find from bulk ammo to high priced target rounds and for the accuracy and price point none of those other brands were a better value than the Winchester power Point ammo. I suggest you try them in your favorite 22.

Super-X is one of two rounds I use in my M&P 15-22. They cycle great, w/out misfires, and are accurate.

This ammo works well in my smith and wesson m&p 22 compact. Never had a failure to feed or a failure to eject.

I bought 200 rounds of this 22LR Super X. I was suspicious when I examined the rounds after receiving them as the lead bullets looked like they had been cast in a porous plaster mold. My grandson's Ruger 10/22 had several failures to fire. Getting them into the chamber of my Remington 514 was hit and miss. Some chambered with no problem, most required extra convincing at about 3/4 of the way in. 60% of the fired rounds casings did not extract and had to be pried out. I have since purchased

If you own a Gsg 16 or Gsg firefly, this ammo does not work great. I have been trying different ammo, so I know it’s the ammo, not the guns. Best stuff that does work great is cci mini mag and Remington thunderbolts. Believe it or not, no issues at all!

I have 4 cheaper .22 rifles. 2 crickets. 1 Mossberg 702 and a Marlin model 60. Obviously in the crickets, any .22lr will work. But in my Marlin or Mossberg semi-auto. These are the only round that cycles the action Reliably. Like all rimfire cartridges. I get Ooccasional failure to fire. But maybe 1 every 200 rounds. I have bought bulk of other brands. My rifles do not like them. They have all types of cycling issues. If I get these in the 100 round box. They always seem to feed and cycle with zero issues... But like with all semi-autos your mileage may very!

The product is great as expected. The service in ordering online with Sportsman's Warehouse is as impeccable as shopping at their store in Loveland. Thanks!

Maximum grain weight of 40 and FPS of 1430, makes this round top notch for accuracy and expansion at longer distances.

I haven’t used these rounds in years but when I saw them here, I thought I would add my 2 cents worth. I’ve only used them through a pre ‘68 Marlin model 80 but they did impress. 5 shot groups at 50 yards ran between 5/8” and 3/4” with a BSA 2-7x32 scope. The same gun struggled to make 1 1/2” groups with Federal GM Match (the 1080FPS load). Function was 100%. It’s always been pricier than bulk ammo but its performance has been a commensurate with its price. Hunting squirrels is when the real

Great ammo for hunting when you need a little more punch than your average solid point 22 lr round. This hollow point ammo really does the job when hunting those larger fox squirrels and even coyotes out to 100 yds or less.
