1 year agoThis is a great addition to my collection. Fun revolver to shoot at the range as well as perfect vehicle protection. Super pleased with the finish & construction. I have not found a round that this judge doesn’t like. It will shoot them all!

1 year agoWhat can you say? the only drawback is that the grips are too small. Looking for an after market set for this gun.

1 year agoNice gun at a great price. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but did notice that the hammer will not stay in the cocked position but it can probably be adjusted but seems to work fine in single action

1 year agoOverall fit and finish are good. No grittiness in trigger pull. Price and shipping were spot on. Overall smooth process. Standard grip is just too small but a known issue. Purchased a Pachmayr grips. Pay attention to model as they are different for polymer and non-polymer frames. Might want to link these as possible add-ons.

1 year agoBeautifully made revolver - should be fun to shoot although the calibers are not the best choices for every day carry, IMHO

1 year agoI now own two Judge defenders. I think they are uniqe and maybe worth more in the future. I have changed to a pachmayr grip which is longer and allows me to hoold the gun better. Taurus "Great job and great gun" !!!

1 year agoBASICALLY, the Taurus Public Defender is a pocket shotgun, MEANING it's a bit "heavy" to carry, but Easy to load & UNLOAD, and you can choose between .45 or .410 (2.5" only) shells - or mix n match! Because of it's rubber hand grip, it stays put in my small "senior" HANDs, without sliding! Love this little GUY, even though he doesn't hold the 3" (.410) shells, but He's a great companion to my Mossberg 510's and my Taurus Judges!

1 year agoLove it!!!! Easy to shoot with minimal recoil. Live in an area with a lot of rattle snakes, like that it also shoots shotgun rounds. I am a small woman and recommend this to any woman.

1 year agoGreat shooting handgun. It’s small enough to carry in a pants pocket, and the grip tames recoil. It shoots 410 shotgun shells and 45 LC accurately, and is an effective tool.

1 year agoHas a big kick by perfect for self defense keep it in my house and makes it feel much more secure. I think between the 45LC and the 410. It should handle most situations

1 year agoI like to think of it as my “exclamation point fire arm”. I live in an apartment and don’t want to fire stray rounds into my neighbors. 2 rounds of birdshot and 2 rounds of buckshot. If the intruder hasn’t gotten the escalation of force at that point, the exclamation point comes in the .45 Long Colt! Keep in mind, the Ammo has become hard to come ...Read More Read more about review stating Perfect nightstand weapon in an apartment

1 year agoIf your looking for a concealed carry and the ultimate in Personal defense, buy a Taurus Judge, Public Defender. Its compact easily concealed and the ultimate Hand Cannon. There's many ammo options, 410 Hornady, Personal Defense is my choice, but any shell will be more then able to do its job should a need arise, and it a...Read More Read more about review stating Taurus Public Defender " Judge "

1 year agoThis pistol is used but couldn’t tell it. It’s in great shape. Could have put it in a new box and I may never have known. The shipping was rediculus fast! Fast as I’ve seen in a long time. This was a great purchase. Practically new pistol for a great price, shipped very fast, what’s not to like. Took it out for a little range time and love it. 1 year agoMy wife and I both have our concealed LTC but her hands are small and she is not jumpy with her S&W 380. We bought the Judge for primarily home defense and have it loaded with two 410 8 shot shells and four Defender Slugs. Her thinking is spray and pray for the first two and then deep breath and better aim with last four. She LOVES it.

1 year agoIt was my wife Mother’s Day gift. She loves it. She shot 45 long colt and burned a box of 410 shot shells. Small for a female’s grip. We have a range on our horse ranch. Weather permits were plinking cans, target and clay pigeons.
