2 years agoPurchased a few boxes of this to sight in my new Tikka T3x Tac. First 5 shot group at 100 yards was just over half MOA, .525’’! Consistent groups in that range all morning, one group was under 0.3’’! Moved out to metal plates at 200-600 yards, using a ballistic calculator app on my phone I was able to hit everything out to 400 yards and 8 of 10 at 600. For the price this is some great ammo for mid-range shooting. A bullet with a better ballistic coefficient and this consistent load would be a great choice to 1000 yards and beyond. Five stars for 100-400 years, four stars for 500-600 yards, three stars for 700-1000 yards, so I gave it an overall rating of four stars. That said, if you’re shooting to 400 yards, this ammo is hard to beat!

1 year agoI wrote my first review a few weeks ago and gave it four-stars, after shooting it more, I am giving it Five-Stars. Under 0.3MOA at 100, 0.7MOA at 200 and knocking off 8" plates at 500 yards. Very consistent over the chronograph 15 fps extreme spread, so the powder charge works well. The flight is very consistent, looks like it uses the Sierra Matchking bullet. I find myself buying this every time I see, now my "go-to" 6.5 Creedmoor ammo. I am very pleased.

1 year agoThis ammo is definitely the best in terms of accuracy (repeated three round, clover groups out of a 9" Virtus @ 100m with a red dot) and reliability (+1,000 rounds without issue), but the filler is HORRENDUS with a can mounted. Make sure that you have a time slot in mind when sitting down to clean after shooting this ammo. You will need to add another hour. Sig - if you actually mine these reviews - please see this as an opportunity to improve. Find another filler to use for this ammo!

1 year agoI 'm sure it is a good round because of the mfg. I have not fired this particular one but many in the past I have received from Sig.

1 year agoI have used this in both my SAKO TRG 22 and my AI AX 308. Both love this ammo and consistently shoot sub 0.5 MOA groups if I do my part. I have yet to find anything better.

1 year agoGlad to have these for my suppressed Rattler but I have not shot them yet. I am confused about the Sig .300 Blackout Ammo made specially for short barrel rifles. Those boxes are not labeled subsonic but I assume they are.

1 year agoGood ammo! Most accurate out of my 18” match grade barrel than other ammos I’ve tried. Was able to consistently shoot 0.8” 10-shot groups from 100 yards. The only problem I have was the muzzle velocity appears to be on the low side, ~2550 feet per second. My other 77 grain ammo consistently shoots ~2700 feet per second. Thus the reason for only 4 stars.

1 year agoEven though I used a Savage 12 with a 26 inch barrel I obtained and average velocity of 2543 fps, the SD was very good with 3.5 of standard deviation.

1 year agoOf all of the match ammo I tried in my Ruger American Ranch 5.56 this was the best. Phenomenal 10 shot group at 100 yards off sand bags on the bench.

1 year agoAs an experiment I bought a box of this to test in my cheap range build meant to be a range blaster. Very accurate, less than MOA, I am getting about 2300fps with a 16inch barrel, is that correct. The box says 2700 but I am guessing that is from a 20inch barrel.

1 year agoI have tried a lot of ammo out of my MCX and this is really accurate out of my MCX. Consistently hitting a 12" plate at 1,000 yards

1 year agoSig Sauer remained true to their customers. No price gouging to make a one time sale, Sig kept me shooting during the pandemic.

1 year agoMy modern sporting rifle (1:8, 18", 5R barrel) really enjoys this cartridge. Easily sub-MOA out to 200 yds with up to 15 mph full-value wind.

1 year agoMost accurate .223 ammo in both my guns. Shot my smallest 5 shot group ever with it - a quarter inch. Given the price, this is now my go to ammo anytime I want to hunt gnats or flies at 100 yards. Sig is doing something right...word will catch on, just hope price stays reasonable.

1 year agoThis loading is by far the most accurate factory .223 loading I have ever seen out of an AR-15. Consistent 3-round groups measuring under 1/2” at 100 yards off of the bench. Can easily cover each groups with a dime. I’ve used loads from Black Hills, Hornady, Winchester, Barnes, Norma, and multiple others and haven’t been able to replicate these groups this easily.(Groups are from a home-built rifle with 18” barrel chambered in .223 Wylde)

1 year agoThe .223 match ammo by Sig works the best in the my Sig M400; it is the most accutate ammo that I have shot to date on a list that includes Black Hills and Hornady.

1 year agoBeen searching for a round that groups well in one of my budget bolt actions. At 75 to 80 cents per round, this ammo shot just as well as some of the dollar per round ammo I’ve tried. 7 of 10 rounds at 100 yards were all touching. The three outliers were probably my fault and not the ammo’s. Hope this goes on sale again.

1 year agoThis is the overall best ammo I've tried so far in my gun; 18" .223 Wylde barrel in a PSA upper receiver. With a fixed 10X SWFA scope, this holds sub-moa groups all day, and I'm NO sniper. Tried to upload pictures, but I posted this from my phone and couldn't find that as an option. Hopefully suffices to say, I was able to cover my 100 yd groups of 5 with a quarter, (all rounds touching) and the 200 yd groups with my closed fist. Makes ya feel like a rockstar.????

1 year agoI was able to get a few 3/4” five shot groups from an 18” BA at 100 yards with this stuff. Not as hot as IMI but neither is the BH real mk 262 it seems to me. If it’s on sale and you are looking for some really accurate ammo, I’d say buy it!

1 year agoNice ammunition. Supresses very well in addition to being consistent. I will likely purchase more in the future.
