Slide is a little looser than I personally like but I have seen, Smith &Wesson, Ruger and Colt 1911’s brand new that had the same looseness. 1 year agoI purchased this gun in 2020 and have put over 1,000 rounds through it with no problems what so ever. I've always wanted a 1911 since I was a kid and with the help of my uncle that is a retired Marine I picked this one out and couldn't be happier. It is worth every penny
