Re-engineered with critical components using machined S7 tool steel, a material so highly regarded for it’s ability to withstand heavy duty action that it’s used in excavator teeth and jack hammer tips. The VSKA rifle features an all new bolt carrier, front trunnion, and feed ramp machined from S7 tool steel and specially heat treated for maximum durability. S7, often referred to as a “Shock-Resisting Tool Steel”, is commonly used for tools like chisels and jack hammer tips as it has maximum shock resistance and high compression strength, while retaining toughness. The front trunnion and bolt are machined from billet and exceeded the durability goals for the project. Additionally, the VSKA features a carburized 4140 steel bolt, a chrome-moly 4150 barrel, and sports the RAK-1 Enhanced Trigger Group for an impressive trigger pull. Along with a manganese-phosphate finish, Century adds a little style to the heavy-duty brute with an American Maple wood buttstock and forend.

2 years agoIts a greAt AK for the price! Get one before the government tries to outlaw them! Works great with US Palm magazines. ReMember an AK will always pop in any conDition with miniMal cleaning.

2 years agoI own two of the century arms version of the popular AK-47...... Century nailed this production model......however, this model lacks one feature That my triangle stock VSKA has .... its of no concern unless you want to keep the RECEIVER locked open. Ive put a hundred rounds thru both rifles. No glitches!

2 years agoMetal parts look ok but could use the side scope mounting bracket like other aftermarket AK’s have. The synthetic stock is minimal…could have been made by a high school kid in pre-shop class. It would not have cost much more to put a decent synthetic stock on it.

2 years agoNever jams. takes almost all types of ak mags. very easy to maintain. better than an ar-15 out to 100 yards. better than an ar-10 out to 100 yards only because the ammo is way cheaper. beyond 100 yards you're gonna want the superior ballistics of the ar platforms. zastava fan boys will say that any akm rifle without a forged front trunnion will eventually explode in spectacular fashion killing everyone in the vicinity and leading to the downfall of civilization, but they're idiots. … Read More

1 year agoI Have fired 100 brass cased rounds thrU and there is minImal Wear on bolt and bolt CaRrier. Magpul fUrniture makes all the difference. MoE handguard, mOe vertical grip, moe ak+ grip, zhukov-S ak stock. Magpul mags with maglink. Magpul RLs sling. I used birChwood casey sight touch up pens to maRk the iron sights which made aLl the Difference

1 year agoOver paid for it. It's for sale online for 520$. Magazine is poorly made. Needs lots of upgrades. Reliable tho. Never jams

1 year agoWell, overall, its a very accurate rifle. I would recommend hand loading it, as the bore diameter on this rifle is .307. However, be ready to spend more on it. As a starter rifle, its great, but the stock that comes on it isnt quite right to look down the sights, you’ll be wishing you had a side rail to mount optics(can be purchased afterwards and installed with use of a mill, but im lazy) and the handguard is a must to have replaced or have a heat shield added as it overheats very quickly. Overall, i love it, but i sunk about $400 into making it perfect for my use

1 year agoPretty well put together. Definitely a solid option. Was originally a bit worried about the case bolt carrier and trunnion, but all the measurements line up and it functions quite well!

1 year agoSo far, so good. Have not been able to shoot it yet, hopefully the next few weeks I will be able to get out and test it.

1 year agoLove this gun great price I wasn't a big fan of some of the furniture so I swapped out the hand guard, pistol grip and put on a folding stock all from magpul.Shoots greet.

1 year agoAppears to be a nice weapon based on reviews. I have yet to fire it. I didnt like the polymer look and feel, but I did like the price point, and I switched out the furniture for a wood look. Huge difference in how the weapon looks now.

1 year agoBought on a whim, wasn't sure about American made AK's but it had a good price tag. Overall rifle seems nice the poly furniture that came on it was blemished from the factory but not to big of a issue as I upgraded the furniture to Magpul. Feels nice and the sights were pretty close to zero out of the box. Put about 50 rounds through it and love the way it shoots. Time will tell on its durability but I doubt I'll ever get close 10k rounds through it.

1 year agoThis is not a very comfortable gun to shoot, it knocks off ear pro, it feels wrong in your hands, the foregrip is blocky, but there is absolutely nothing necisarily wrong with it, just nothing is right with jt either. Worth 650 bucks

1 year agoRifle arrived at FFL and was in original box. Condition excellent after a through inspection, completed transaction. Great rifle made in United States of America. Palmetto State Armory is easy to deal with and will use them again.

1 year agoThe finish is kind of rough and it's like nails on a chalkboard to even touch it. The furniture is really cheap plastic. Overall it seems reliable enough but definitely not a gun I enjoy holding.

1 year agoWasn't Impressed. Fitment is very shaky, the sights are NOT accurate. However, there were no problems with cycling the weapon. I've shot over 500 rounds through it so far.
