The P229 Legion SAO features a SIG Mastershop-inspired trigger and is finished in a proprietary Legion gray PVD coating, custom G-10 grips with a Legion medallion, the new SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY3 high visibility day/night sights and will ship with three magazines. The P229 in SAO includes a reduced and contoured Elite beavertail, which allows for a higher grip, but a reduced profile, thus eliminating printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard enhance the grip. An X-Five undercut has been applied to the trigger guard, allowing for a higher grip and greater control. Front cocking serrations provide greater purchase for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or conducting press checks. The pistol is available in 9mm, features a low profile slide catch lever and thumb safety to reduce the risk of snagging. In addition, a solid steel guide rod adds weight where it matters most.

1 year agoI just received my Sig P229 Legion and it shoots great! I love the feel of the gun and the low recoil while shooting. Now to run a few hundred rounds through it!!

1 year agoThis is a wonderful firearm. The grip, the size and the trigger are awesome for me. I don’t have large hands and I get a very solid grip while shooting. Love this gun. Would have given 5 stars but the position of the slide lock/release is right next to the manual thumb safety and I have to break grip to release slide or rack it back. 1 year agoJust bought this firearm and I have had several sigs before. Overall I am happy with gun, took it to the range and it is as accurate as I can shoot. Only little knock I have for this gun is the slide release tab is too small and being small it it hard too release the slide. But I would buy again.

1 year agoThe Sig P229 Legion is everything I thought it was. It shoots extremely well and the mags are top notch. Sig really hit the ball out of the park with this one.
